Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to the clear instructions from the host (I especially appreciated the photos included). The apartment is located in the attic of a very beautiful house, you can even learn a bit about its history as you climb the stairs :)

The location was very quiet, but in the small town of Ubersee, a short drive to Lake Chiemsee and about a 1 hour drive to Berchtesgaden National park.

It's such a beautiful home, and it feels like you're staying with friends. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and want to make sure you have a great trip. The breakfast is exceptional, truly. Easily parked out front every day. The town is lovely and peaceful, but close to the highway for ease of travel. It was a great base for Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, etc.

The rooms are clean and we'll equipped with what you need. There is a small kitchen, very well equipped. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was good. The kids really liked that there closiness to animals - cows, horses, bunnies.
