We tried to change our booking for when we return so we could stay again (unfortunately the other hotel wouldn’t let us cancel so we couldn’t) but highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, full-day security and organising tours for guests. I really enjoyed the stay thanks to Nely's great hospitality to take care of the guests in all aspects. The open, common kitchen in the patio is nice, where Nely makes coffee, tea, salt, oil, etc as well as fruits from her own fields available for the guests. It is in a quiet, safe area. It takes about 20 minutes to the centro, which was not a problem for me. It is also possible to take a bike from the hotel to go around the town or take a bike tour in the nearby places.

La Mirada del Solitario George is located in Puerto Ayora, just 4 minutes’ drive from Charles Darwin Station and next to Cazares School. Free WiFi zones are available in some areas of the hostel and tea, coffee and water is available for guests. The two ladies were extremely helpful and the premises very clear.
