Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Great view of the river from your room and the rooftop. I think it will only be a matter of time before this is the go to hostel in Aswan. When we arrived at the ferry dock in Aswan, we were greeted by Ebrahim, the boatman from the guest house. He & his friends/relatives helped to carry our luggages down the stairs to the boat. The boat ride to the guest house was absolutely breathtaking, we were so glad we decided to stay on Elephantine Island. Once we arrived at the guest house, one of the hosts, Omar, invited us to the rooftop to have our welcome drinks. So we sipped our hibiscus tea while enjoying the beautiful view of the Nile River during sunset, it was so serene. We had dinner & breakfast the next day on the rooftop as well, Abu Nasser is an amazing chef! Omar & Abu Nasser were very warm & welcoming, we felt at home right away. The location of the guest house is on the quieter side of Elephantine Island, facing the Aga Khan Mausoleum across the river, it felt very peaceful. There are no cars, tuk-tuks or motorcycles on Elephantine Island, so we walked everywhere, to the ferry dock & to the restaurants. It was honestly a very enjoyable walk because we got to see how some of the locals lived. Our rooms were clean & nicely decorated, each room had the view of the Nile River. The shower pressure & the WIFI were good.

Aceasta pensiune mi-a dapasit asteptarile.Proprietarul JJ împreuna cu sotia si echipa lui,fac o treaba excelenta.Camera a fost foarte curata si bine utilata(tv,un mini frigider,A.C,ventilator).Patul este foarte confortabi,iar micul dejun foarte copios.JJ este foarte atent si grijuliu cu oaspetii sai.Mi-a pregatit un transfer(cu un.sofer excelent pe nume Hady) de la Assuan la Luxor cu o masina privata la un pret bun(70€).Daca aveti nevoie de ceva nu ezitati sa îl intrebati.In apropierea pensiunii se afla statia de feribot(la 3 minute de mers).Transportul bagajelor de la feribot la pensiune este foarte dificil(drumul fiind neasfaltat si denivelat).Multumesc JJ pentru gazduire.Sper sa ne revedem cu bine.

Basically everything! After a long travel around Egypt, I was looking for some peace and quiet but at the same time have the opportunity to explore my final destination, Aswan. Nala Narty was the PERFECT option. Calm, clean, aesthetic, organic food, hippie chic vibe in an island of Aswan near the Nubian village! What else would you ask for? Ah YES! Sherif's dogs, absolutely adorable! Please do not doubt to book this place! You won't regret it ❤️

The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The owner was especially helpful in arranging the transportation we needed, which was greatly appreciated. Feel free to seek his assistance during your stay—he is very supportive and responsive. The location is excellent if you want to experience Nubian culture. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were decent and well maintained. Grocery store and multiple restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is also next to the dock, making it easy to get a boat to travel around Aswan.

They made sure that we had everything we needed and had transport to and from the airport and train station. The location on the island was amazing and only a short boat ride away from the mainland. The rooms were super nice. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Aswan!

Their hospitality was unmatched, and they were always ready to assist us. When we needed to leave early for a trip to Abu Simbel, they thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box for us. The range of activities they offer, such as the boat ride and the drive to Abu Simbel, were not only reasonably priced but also of high quality. One of the highlights of our stay was the Nubian party with live music hosted by the property. The lively atmosphere and the enchanting music made the evening an unforgettable experience.
