After really disappointing hotels in Cairo and Luxor in the same range, this one really exceeded my expectations. It’s on an island, but don’t worry, it’s really easy and cheap to get across with a public ferry for 15-20 egp during daytime hours, and even during the night, when the price is 75-100 egp because they transport only you. The staff is really nice, the garden fabolous and smell so nice, the rooms are super clean (cleaning lady will empty your trash and make your bed every day), you get all the toiletaries and two towels, even complimentary peanuts awaits you in the room. In the main hall, they have a fridge with water and sodas you can buy for a regular price, and you can also use that fridge for you own food. It's super quiet since there is no traffic on the island. Having a quiet room is something you really need when you travel around Egypt.

The owner was super friendly and made us a good breakfast served on the roof. The entrance is not maintained but once you're inside everything is clean and colorful.

The guest house is really good, clean room and washrooms, good food and best tea, reasonable price. Early morning breakfast available for Abu Simbel trip at 4am. Owner can arrange local travel on request at reasonable price. Owner also helps to explore local tourist places at good price. Good guide helped us to explore nubian villages. Definitely recommended.

JJ Guesthouse se află în Assuan, la aproximativ 22 km de Mausoleul Aga Khan și la mai puțin de 1 km de Muzeul Nubian, și pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit în întreaga proprietate. Aceasta pensiune mi-a dapasit asteptarile.Proprietarul JJ împreuna cu sotia si echipa lui,fac o treaba excelenta.Camera a fost foarte curata si bine utilata(tv,un mini frigider,A.C,ventilator).Patul este foarte confortabi,iar micul dejun foarte copios.JJ este foarte atent si grijuliu cu oaspetii sai.Mi-a pregatit un transfer(cu un.sofer excelent pe nume Hady) de la Assuan la Luxor cu o masina privata la un pret bun(70€).Daca aveti nevoie de ceva nu ezitati sa îl intrebati.In apropierea pensiunii se afla statia de feribot(la 3 minute de mers).Transportul bagajelor de la feribot la pensiune este foarte dificil(drumul fiind neasfaltat si denivelat).Multumesc JJ pentru gazduire.Sper sa ne revedem cu bine.

Nala Narty Nubian House & Organic Farm se găsește pe malul mării în Assuan, la 19 km de Mausoleul Aga Khan, și oferă diverse facilități, printre care o grădină, o zonă de plajă privată și o terasă. Absolutely exceptional concept, design, location, owners and staff!

Nebro Nubian Guest House - Adults Only se găsește în Assuan, la 18 km de Mausoleul Aga Khan, și are WiFi gratuit, o terasă, room-service și un bancomat. High vibes, lovely staff, great beds and shower. Really nice and helpful host!

Nubian Soul Guest Houses se află în Assuan și are o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. This guest house was clean and well located close to the ferry terminal. The place was a bit more expensive than other options but had a modern shower, reliable wifi, and a peaceful rooftop - which were all important to me. Homemade breakfast was simple and the cook even packed sandwich for my very early tour. Mahmoud was super nice and chill, showing a sunset spot and nearby attractions in this lovely nubian village. They had their tour connections, which I didn’t get to use it as I prefer independent travel but could be convenient for those who want tours to explore Aswan. Overall, great nubian experience. Just make sure you take ferry from ‘South’ terminal. Otherwise you will have to walk long in unpaved dirt road.

Mohammed and Mostafa are very kind, generous, and genuine people. They helped us with everything from Flueca rides, money exchange, and routes. This is from now on my goto for whenever i come to Aswan.

King Mina Nubian House se află în Assuan și oferă cazare de, cu terasă privată. Proprietatea se găsește la 22 km de Mausoleul Aga Khan, la 17 km de Aswan High Dam și la 24 km de Tombs of the Nobles. We enjoyed our stay at King Mina so much! The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we were lucky to find this gem in the best Island. It was so peaceful and relaxing!

Dolty Kato Nubian House is vibrant, colorful, and genuinely beautiful and the décor and ambience are a big part of what attracted us, and it fully lived up to expectations. We stayed as a family (me, my wife, and our 6-year-old) and the staff were consistently helpful and courteous. A special mention to Ms. Somaya for how she handled our arrival day. Our flight from Cairo was delayed by around 2.5 hours, which clashed with a planned guided tour. We arrived tired and with a hungry child, and I was struggling to coordinate with the tour operator and decide what to order. Somaya quickly contacted the operator, explained our situation in Arabic, and helped us order the right dishes and managed the whole situation calmly and efficiently, and it genuinely saved our day (A big shout out!!) The room was very clean and comfortable, service was spot on, and the restaurant views are excellent. Dinner was a highlight—eating on the banks of the Nile with truly delicious food and unique flavors was memorable (milder on spice compared to an Indian palate, but still fantastic). The hotel also offers tours and activities that looked well-priced, though we had already pre-booked ours.
