Everything about this place was exceptional - the ambiance, location, staff, food, etc. A bonus is it’s pet friendly, which made me smile when I saw a dog (we don’t have one at the moment). But none - I repeat none - were unruly or misbehaving in any way and there was no smell or mess that might be expected.

Exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful hosts. They left breakfast in the fridge and even brought us some watermelon they had left. Great location, in between Lympstone and Exmouth, right by the estuary with nice clean air. Nice place to walk or cycle, also walkable from the train station, though do ask for directions from there as it's a bit tricky to find. Bed was very comfortable. The room is on the smaller side, but that makes it cozy and it's everything you need for the price. Only thing to consider is that there is no way to warm up food (except the kettle), in our case Helen was nice enough to do it for us :) Also the garden is lovely too, loved hearing and seeing the birds (and squirrel).

Excellent facilities, host is amazing and so accommodating. Great nights sleep as bed very comfy. Plenty of selection for breakfast and delicious. Made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Will most definitely want to come back and stay again.

New, comfortable, quiet, very clean, large spacious room, excellent shower. A lovely countryside view. My wife is a light sleeper and had the best sleeps so far of our UK trip.

great location and even though i was a bit concerned about finding the place in a pea-sooper of an evening - if you follow the supplied instructions its easy. The accommodation is on a long straight of a back road, but the view out the back is open fields for as far as you can see ( or not in the fog ! :) ) Nice touch that the hosts left some eggs and some milk - so i could have something hot when i got there will definitely stay here again next time i need to be in the area. Many thanks
