This was both one of my favorite stays in Japan so far as well as one of the cheaper ones. The owner of this ryokan is super friendly well. He gave me tips on what to see as well as a map of local cafes and restaurants and other tourist attractions which he himself helped make. Overall the stay was super friendly and I hope to come back in the future and even book the dinner this time.

Stayed there for a week but I feel like I can stay here forever. Firstly l, the staff is so polite and even though he couldn’t speak English he used a translator. The instructions are so well prepared so we can follow it to use the rice cooker and washing machine/dryer. The staff is very nice and moved us downstairs halfway through our stay so we stayed at both levels and it’s very clean. Level 2 is tatami room and it feels so nice to just laze around. Level 1 is wooden floor and feels bigger. Both levels are nice. We drove, so location is ok. Driving to everywhere around town takes about only 5-10 mins. If you have baby, they will prepare the crib / bed and special bin with wet wipe for your baby.
