We stayed only one night at the beginning of the season in Kalpitiya, and we had a great stay here. The chalets are spacious, modern and super clean, the bathrooms were huge as well. The courtyard had also a great vibe with the sand and the palm trees providing some shade. The staff were super friendly and accommodating - we also had breakfast here and coffee, both were great choices.

We arrived very late at night, but the team went above and beyond to ask for a late dinner for us also which was really thoughtful and much appreciated. room is extremely spacious, with a large washroom that gives the feeling of staying in a private villa. The sea view from the room is breathtaking and truly adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was another highlight we requested a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, and they prepared it beautifully. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well presented. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention goes to Nishantha, who gave us incredible support throughout our stay and made us feel very well taken care of. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations with its comfort, hospitality, and beautiful setting. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

The hotel is placed very close to the beach with a lot of calm. The owner and staff is very friendly and serviceminded. The rooms are large and luxurious. The food is very delicious. This is a must visit place for calm and self indulgence.

Ging Oya Lodge se află în Wayikkal și are biciclete gratuite, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină și o terasă. Such an amazing start to our Sri Lanka trip - dinners are so good here!! Different meal served each night. On the first night we had a selection of authentic Sri Lankan curry and rice that was incredible. The pool area is clean, relaxing and the rooms are big and clean. Hotel manager and all staff are very accommodating providing everything we need including bicycles which were a great way to explore the area.

The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I came on our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. The safari organisation was so easy, we had our own jeep and a great driver. We got picked up, taken to the park about 10 mins away, had breakfast and lunch provided to us and saw lots of animals. On our second day of safari we sat eating our breakfast watching a leopard!! What more could you want. The Ceylon contacted us before we arrived to organise the safari and it worked like clockwork. The room was very clean and spacious, the food was EXCELLENT! We had to get the recipe for one of the curries from the buffet (highly recommend having that, very authentic buffet). Roshan was the most amazing and hilarious host making us feel very welcome and entertaining. He was very happy to help with anything we asked. You can tell they have put a lot of effort And money into making the place nice, and also safe (elephants etc). Amazing chilled vibes and nice other guests to chat to about your day on safari. Windy Waves Beach Nature Resort & Kite School se găsește în Kalpitiya, la câțiva pași de Plaja Kudawa, și oferă o grădină, o zonă de plajă privată, un lounge comun și parcare privată gratuită. Very nice huts that make you feel super comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and offers a nice variety too. Also the restaurant is very good and the staff will do anything to make your stay as good as possible. Kite surfing and their teachers were amazing as well.

The Backwaters Lodge se află în Wilpattu și include o grădină și facilități de grătar, precum și un restaurant. The Backwaters lodge has everything that a naturelover is looking for. We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.
