Great value for money. You have everything you would ever need in this hotel. It is super clean. Rooms are well equiped (iron + board, fan, fridge, safe box). Location is perfect - walking distance from historical center but in a very safe and uncrowded part. The bed is very comfortable. The windows are great in blocking street noise, you don't hear a thing. Breakfast is amazing, tons of different options, all delicious. There is a well equiped gym with a view of the city. Also, the staff is very helpfull and kind.

Located less than 5 minutes’ walk from Palacio de Iturbide Museum and Torre Latino, Hotel Histórico Central offers Colonial-style architecture and free WiFi connection in all areas. The hotel is in the middle of the old town, everything in the historic centre is walking distance. Hotel guests can enjoy a 3-hour free walking tour which was really informative, we learned s lot about CDMX. To top it off the hotel offers free food and drinks 24 hours, perfect gor guests coming from Europe who have their mealtimes a bit mixed up due to the different timezone. During our departure our driver could not reach the hotel due to some demonstrations and therefore closed streets. In a heartbeat the staff organized 2 rikshas to take us and our luggage (4 people-3 week trip through Mexico) to the place where the driver was waiting. A staffmember accompanied us, to make sure we were ok. That is what we call excellent service. (We have stayed in a lot of top class, large, small and as well charming hotels all over the world, therefore have some experience)

This 5-star hotel is located in the Zocalo, the main plaza at the city centre in Mexico City. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We arranged taxi transportation through the hotel, which made everything very easy and stress-free. The hotel is located on a lively, vibrant street, and the presence of guards outside made us feel very safe at all times. We had booked a food tour, so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy breakfast the next morning. Instead, we had dinner on the terrace, which was a wonderful experience. The following day, we went on a tour to Tolantongo, and the amazing staff were kind enough to lend us towels—something we truly appreciated. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel and returned around 8 p.m. Despite heavy traffic and several street closures due to a show, the staff helped direct us to a street where Ubers were allowed. One of the guards even walked all the way to the taxi with us, which made us feel incredibly safe. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you to the wonderful team at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México! This place is an absolute gem. The location is outstanding. You are within easy walking distance of everything in Roma and Condesa, with fantastic cafés, restaurants, taco spots, and bars literally around the corner. The area feels very safe, lively, and welcoming, with genuinely friendly people everywhere you go. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The bed is excellent, the shower is great, and overall the apartment feels very well thought out and maintained. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about. One of the highlights is the rooftop. It offers a beautiful view over the Mexico City skyline and quickly became one of our favorite spots. We took pastries and coffee up there in the mornings and also went back in the evenings just to relax and admire the view. A special mention goes to the doorman, who is an absolutely amazing guy. Always smiling, always helpful, and someone who genuinely brightens your day. Another big plus is the flexibility with luggage. We were able to leave our bags safely at the building until our flight, which made our last day completely stress free. Overall, this is incredible value for money. Highly recommended. You honestly cannot do better than this
