Kitchen is very functional and well furnished. Wifi worked well. Washer/dryer in bathroom is a nice feature. We made use of the benches located along the waterfront every evening as the sun was setting. Great views from the property! We enjoyed being able to hike up to Agastolen from the property - the clifftop viewpoint there is fantastic! We also walked to Agatunet and thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour. There is a SPAR grocery store just a few kilometers south of the property in the town of Na. Odda is approx. 25 minute drive if you'd like some additional dining / shopping options. The Hardangerfjord sightseeing cruise from Utne to Lofthus - Kinsarvik - Ulvik - Eidfjord is spectacular! Many excellent nearby hiking trails (e.g., to Buerbreen glacier).

We had such a wonderful stay! It was probably the cleanest place we stayed at, also very confortable and cosy, felt like a home immediately. Gea was also so nice to greet us and so patient with our hyperactive dog! The location is perfect, with the sea just steps away and views over the water from all windows, also perfectly placed to watch the sunset. Hope we'll come again!

Located in Rosendal in the Hordaland region, Rosendal Hyttetun features a balcony. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Just as it says, this is a camping ground with cabins for rent. The campground has a main building with a beautiful kitchen and lots of communal showers and a free washer and dryer (bring your own laundry soap). Kitchen has no spices whatsoever, so if you are cooking your meal, have all the spices/cooking oil you need. It is a 40 minute walk to Rosendal Kai (where you get the boat to Salmon Eye & town center with stores). There are buses, but they dont run often so check the schedule. The hike to town is beautiful if the weather is kind, and you'd have to hike for about 10 mins on the highway until the sidewalk appears at Neslia Bus stop. The grounds are very beautiful and peaceful. I never thought that I'd be camping by myself, but for that incredible Iris restaurant experience, it's worth it. Rosendal is a sleepy town, and it seems to me that restaurants are barely open, and if they are the choice for food is quite small. Maybe the town is open more during the weekends? But if you're here on the weekdays, I'd say having access to a full kitchen to make your own food is essential. Public transportation from Stavanger to here is possible (5.5 hrs), and so is public transportation out to Oslo (7.5 hrs). It's multiple bus/ferry transfers, but the ride is amazingly picturesque you dont want to sleep during the entire time.

Hardangerfjord View - luxury fjord-side holiday home is a recently renovated holiday home in Øystese, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The House is super well situated, clean, well distributed in terms of rooms, beds are comfy, équipement is high class. We had perfect stay and surely will return.
