I haven't had the chance to meet the owner but he always responded to messages very quickly. Really no complaints, an excellent place to stay.

This is a historic building which has been beatifully renovated. There are only 5 rooms and 2,5 bathrooms so even though there are no private bathrooms it is still comfortable. Bathrooms are beatiful and spotlessly clean. Very cozy atmosphere all over the house, lots of common areas to rest or to chat with others. Huge terrass overlooking the fjord and the lake. Our bedroom (double room) was comfortable too with a great view to the fjord. Owners are very kind and helpful, thank you Amelie and Mara!

I'd already missed dinner but the very helpful staff made me a sandwich and had beer available so all was good. Room was spotless, bed was comfy. Breakfast was delicious. I wish it was not such a fleeting visit!

Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!
