Built in an ancient Colonial-period Bungalow, The Elephant Stables is a beautiful property overlooking Kandy’s lush greenery. It welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and cosy guestrooms. The bungalow sits atop a hill with a view of a river, hills and forested landscape capturing a picturesque view of Kandy. The morning mist encompasses the bungalow making you feel you're living in the clouds. With an infinity pool and attentive service and a gorgeous property this stay capped my entire Sri Lanka trip. The bungalow is located 15 min drive from the main property but check-in and everything else is handled directly at the bungalow. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Manju (head of housekeeping) took our orders and overall made our stay enjoyable. The food cooked by the private chef was memorable. Would encourage all friends to visit.

We felt completely at home during our three-day stay. It was warm, with no insects or mold, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. I truly recommend this place. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kandy Siebel Bungalow, hosted by Anoma and her daughter. Although my stay was brief—just one night—I was thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and offered a delicious dinner.My room was beautifully upgraded to feature one large double bed and a single bed, perfect for families or groups. The stunning mountain view from my room was a highlight, and the fast, stable Wi-Fi made my stay even more enjoyable.The location is excellent, just a 23-minute walk from the train station, in a lovely area with good bus connections. Anoma's kindness and helpfulness truly made this homestay a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Relaxing and very comfortable. Nice, clean and quiet place. Outdoor garden with lush greenery enhanced that experience. Staff are super friendly and helpful. On our request they arranged transportation to attractions in and around Kandy. Sri Lankan breakfast served was fantastic. They have continental type breakfast too. Will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Sri Lanka.
