It was a really special experience staying here. It is essentially a farm stay in a traditionally decorated Bedouin village. Very green and peaceful. Surrounded by nature. The pool was really cold and fed by underground well water, which was amazing after a hot day out visiting all the sites. The food was ridiculously good, with a lot of the ingredients being freshly picked from the farm around us. This was one of my favorite places we stayed during our trip in Egypt. It is extremely close to all the West Bank historical sites and also close to the hot air balloon tours, but out of the way and not in the city.

The lodge is a new hotel located in a banana plantation near the riverbank; my own, private oasis in the hustle and bustle of busy Luxor. The generous common areas are furnished with old and new authentic objects from different Egypt periods. The garden, the poolside and the terraces are well maintained, super clean and reduced to the max. My room had a big and bright bathroom, a super comfortable mattress and a big balcony with seatings. From there and from the rooftop I had a great view on the riverbank. The stuff is natural friendly, very welcoming and always in charge. I had breakfast and dinner there. The food was outstanding. What a great chef. A special mention for Mohamed. He supported me in the best ways in all my plans for Luxor. I really enjoyed his company and the great chats we had. His politeness, kindness, hospitality and professional appearance makes him to the perfect host. At lest I like to mention the neighborhood. I loved to have a walk along the creek in front of the hotel. An authentic insight in Egypt living in the country side. I wish i could have stayed longer.

It's clean and spacious, decorations are tipica of Egypt, the place is perfect and the staff for far the best people, Mamahmoud will help you with everything that you need, they are gonna take of you because, if you're traveling around Egypt, you know how the people can be, but in this place you can trust in him, if you need transportation they will provide it at the right price, if you need food they will bring it, at the right place, in this place forget that feeling to being negotiating and getting tired about it, I'm a solo traveler and I just got nice rest here and everything was handled for them, even I went for shopping and they help me to get the right prices. Heyeand the breakfast is amazing. You're not going to regret choosing this place, you will find kindness people like Mamahmoud and you're gonna feel safe. Also, he knows all the information that as a tourist we need and that is so hard to get from others, he is willing to help you and he speaks very nice English so ...no worries and enjoy Luxor.
