The host was very accommodating and helpful. We are very grateful to her to allow early check-in, upon our arrival from the bus. Communication with the host was very clear before our arrival, so we know exactly what to expect with check-in, key collection, etc.

The cottage was very spacious and beautifully furnished with all the needed equipment. The view over the lake is spectacular and the sauna has a very special design. We were positively surprised to see how much we got for the money. We also went on a snowmobile safari with the host Mika, which was one of the best travel experiences we ever had.

Even though it’s just a little over 10 minutes out of the centre, it’s even perfect! Quiet and surrounded by nature! The cabin is super big! I have recommended this to over 200k people, so I hope it gets booked up as it’s wonderful! Thankyou for having me :)

It's truly in the middle of nowhere. There are just 3 cabins and a Sauna hut. Complete privacy, silence and beautiful trails to walk. One has to get the water from the hole in the frozen river few meters from the sauna. It's a bare bones wilderness cabin experience yet very cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and answer all your questions. There is a wood fireplace in the cabin and the wood is provided. The huskies are nearby. They howl when the Aurora's are out.

This is our 2nd time staying in Chalet 8208 and we are already planning to comeback in 2026. Everything clean, kitchen very well equipped and great location. The staff who answered the messages our very nice and fast to answer.
