Abi, the owner, is a kind, giving person who went above and beyond several times to see that we were very well cared for. The chalet is well located for our purposes in the town of Redruth. It is spacious enough for two people, quiet and well appointed for a stay of several days. We were there for five nights. We would stay there again .

Close to everything we needed and a little shop right next door . The Jolly Sailor Pub is across the road and does very good homemade food until 8pm . Very friendly.

The location was perfect, if you want to camp on the beach this is the perfect setting. As it is a private beach, there is no noise at night except the waves. Weather is not an issue, we had both real sunny and rain, the cabins are nice and cosy when it is rainy. The restaurant is really very good. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff very attentive. Food is good - both breakfast as well as evening dinner. Also a good place for doing local trips.

At 996 feet on top of Caradon Hill, Wheal Tor Hotel & Glamping is the highest inn in Cornwall. Boasting stunning views, it offers rooms with moorland access, free Wi-Fi, and full English breakfasts. Everything about our visit exceeded our expectations. The food quality was phenomenal, the staff were always ready to assist and the views where incredible. The surrounding area is easily accessible, the Eden Project only being a 40 minute drive away. We decided to "splurge" on Christmas dinner all cooked by one of the owners and it was the best 3 and a half hours of eating we have ever experienced. If you like nachos these are the best we have ever tasted and honestly we would do the 5 + hour drive for them alone! We look forward to visiting again. Best Christmas ever!
