Offering a tranquil garden setting, Ololo Safari Lodge is nestled at the Mbagathi River bordering the famous Nairobi National Park. Great food, great staff, great service. At first, I thought the price was a bit high, but when you factor in the pickup from the airport, the included safari drives, the excellent meals and care (my dinner was special ordered, and waiting hot for me when I arrived after 10pm, with a 'free' night safari through the game park as my flight was delayed). the rooms were well appointed, and it was fun staying in the old stables (refurbished of course).

It is even better than the images. The linen is very clean and the bed very comfortable. The space is very neat, clean and comfortable. All the amenities available as listed. Most importantly the host, Liz, her family and her right hand lady Ednah are very hospitable. They made the stay memorable and convenient. She’ll even help with late night/ early morning transfers. Loved every bit of it! I look forward to my next stay there.

Wonderful cottage in Karen — we stayed for two days to do laundry and regroup after a Safari. We chose the place to get a feel for living in Kenya after the Safari bubble and loved it. They did our laundry. We walked to Giraffe Center. Hit the Karen Blixen museum. And at lunch at Tin Roof Cafe and dinners at Talisman and Cultiva. Great stay. Easy to Uber about. Yummy breakfast.

Excellent location near to all of the attractions and with direct viewing into National park! A few animals even wandered over near to the property! Safe and Secure! We had 3 huts for our family of 5 (2 were bedrooms with bathrooms, 1 for kitchen & dining). Chalo was extremely attentive in arranging all of our taxis/day drivers and ordering food for lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend!
