The apartment was in a fantastic location with the most amazing view of Gaustatoppen. You wake up with the best view and walk out to the veranda to take your morning tea/coffee. The whole place was impeccably clean and the fixtures and fittings are not only of top quality but extremely tasteful and comfortable. The host Hernrik was extremely accommodating and responsive, and the location is perfect for all outdoor activities. We would stay here again in heartbeat.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Unique farm stay in the steep mountains of Rjukan is set in Vemork, 19 km from Gaustatoppen. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It was the perfect stay, really cosy house. We even got the chocolate! There was everything what was needed for the stay (you do not have to buy toilet paper or paper towels) and even more: spices, oil. We were invited to say hi to the goats, they are relly funny :) Super nice owners! Really quickly answered to all our questions!

The parquet floors, fireplace and peaceful vibe add to the ambience of the room. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Beautiful location and well equipped chalet. The interior is very cosy and stylish and even with some terrible weather, we still found it a lovely place to relax. Very handy to have the EV charging point to use at the accommodation. Would definitely recommend trying the floating Sauna at the Gaustablikk hotel as well as their pizza restaurant Stova and the bakery. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to recuperate after Norseman!

The 13th-century Røldal Stave Church is 200 metres away. Beautifully decorated houses with everything you need in a heavenly atmosphere. The staff is responsive, kind and polite. We definitely recommend this gem between the Norwegian mountains.
