The highlight of our visit, without a doubt, was the huskies. These beautiful, well-cared-for dogs are the heart and soul of the lodge, and spending time with them was an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re experienced or a first-timer, the husky sledding tours are a must. Gliding through the snow-covered trails with the dogs leading the way was exhilarating and magical—a memory we will cherish forever. The staff at Jotunheimen Husky Lodge truly go above and beyond. They are knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about the region and its traditions. They helped us plan our trip, shared fascinating insights about the area and the local wildlife, and ensured every moment of our stay was perfect.

We were upgraded to a cabin with private bathroom due to quiet time of year still in May. Cabin was comfortable, bathroom had nice hot water. We had dinner in the hytte, meal and drinks were nice. Quiet location, looks like a fairy tale. It snowed by the morning, it really created a great atmosphere. Breakfast if requested is delivered to your door in a basket, breakfast was generous and a good spread of different options. We felt like it was Christmas with the snow and wooden cabins with grassy roofs :)
