A sizeable place, offering all the things you need during your stay….and more. Surprisingly the space doesn’t feel cluttered but rather well structured, comfortably organized and downright perfect. A high recommendation, also because of the incredible value for money. With four friends it is convenient to each use one of the 4 bedrooms, yet it could have held double numbers which the two bathrooms with toilet could have handled as well

Super professional and fun staff. A perfect combination with the fantastic restaurant in house. I very much enjoyed the setting in the old part of town and to listen to the church bells in the morning.

Clean and spacious good quality modern apartment with a lovely sunny terrace. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, making both doctor and vet appointments for us. The location is on the edge of the forest so great for walking. Lots of local restaurants. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

The location of Kastanienhof was ideal for a stopover on our way to Germany from France and is situated in a beautiful region. Due to current Covid restrictions, the breakfast room was closed, but a delicious breakfast was delivered directly to the door of our apartment! The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were pleasant and extremely helpful.

A nice quiet room, a safe place to park my bicycle and a great breakfast buffet in the morning.
