We used JaRa 1 as a stop-over on a long car journey. It served its purpose exceedingly well. It was comfortable, very clean, and it resulted in a restful stay. Amazingly it contains a sauna which the owners proposed to fire up before our arrival! This being just a one-night stay, we decided not to take advantage of that kind offer. The place has a lovely decor with very ‘peaceful’, relaxing photos on the walls.

Everything exceeded our expectation. Only the location might be a little bit remote for someone, but it was perfect for my friends and me. The facility is located in a peaceful village. It is very neat and surrounded by very beautiful hills. In a word, it is a place where I'd like to go back again.

Excellent location to explore this region. The property was extremely clean and in top condition, everything worked perfectly. Location was quiet, very close to Stolberg, Aachen and Monschau. We would have no problems recommending to others. The owner lived below and never imposed in any way.

Everything was perfect! New clean and comfortable room, kitchen has microwave, toaster and kettle. I am delighted. I would like to stay in this hotel for several days if it is located in another place (nothing to see around).

For us the location was perfect because we were close to the family, the purpose of our visite. It is such a quiet environment, we saw red squirrels, which we had not seen in years.
