The house was a surprise - it was way more spacious than expected. Also, it has a nice fenced garden (good for kids or dog) with two parking slots. Kitchen is well equipped and overall everything looked almost brand new. The communication with the owner was fast. We were there for a ski trip and it was perfect - tracks are near (Elva-Otepää) and right after skiing we could have a nice sauna!

Hostess was very nice and welcoming. Clean place with kitchen ready to use, shower with toilet and a separate toilet. The view from our room was fantastic especially when sun was setting. Very quiet place. Clean and not too far away from town.

I did not have high expectations before arriving to Tõravere — it was the only affordable accommodation in the vicinity of Tartu during the highly popular weekend with several international events in town, so we opted for the closest place within our budget. But... It's very easy to get to by car, it was easy to access the apartment, which itself was well heated, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Would recommend!

Cute little private apartment with a beautiful pond view. Very clean, nicely organised, has everything you might need - fridge, microwave, smart TV, air conditioning, modern bathroom, even a pull up bar! Also, nice private parking spot and easy check-in/check-out

The place was very clean, well equipped With all mod cons, the bed was a good size and very comfortable, pillows a little firm for me but that is personal preference The host was very helpful and was easy to contact if needed It was great to have outside private space with a gate to walk down to lake Parking right outside the door

Nice nostalgic place to stay, I've been there several times in the past. I visited 6 lakes there: 2 bigger in Elva, another bigger one near this place and also three smaller lakes within 3 km. Nice walking path in the forest, nice birdsong around the building and in the forest (in spring). The path of Tartu ski marathon is very beautiful, like a wide highway in the middle of the forest. I like the small houses spread around the main house between trees. The toilets and shower room are common for the whole level and there are separate levels for men and women (men in the ground floor). There's a possibility of using fridge (check the cable first that it is plugged in!), microwave and a small water boiler for boiling about 1 litre of water. The water in the taps had a strong iron taste so I didn't use it for drinking, not even boiled. There was TV in the room, wifi worked, even with IPv6 directly from the internet service provider. Curtains in the room could be closed for night pretty well so the early morning brightness didn't come too much in the room. It was quiet during the night and the window could be closed well enough so that the bird sounds didn't wake up too early. The gunshots (as for practice by some people who come and practice there) could be disturbing to some, they echo kilometres away in the forest and to Elva but it wasn't that bad for me; in the building they are less audible than when being outside.
