The location of this property is superb. The cabin is almost like a tree house as it overhangs a cliff, as such you feel like you are in the tree tops with wonderful views down into the village. There is an easy short walk into the delightful local village where a lovely bakery serves beautiful pastries for breakfast. The property is also a short drive into Dijon, a lovely town to explore for a day out.

Very special place to stay on our road trip around France! Hosts were so welcoming - had a canapé and aperitif (alcohol made my the brother of the host) by the fire with them in the evening. Breakfast was a delicious selection of homemade products including honey from the property. Highly recommend this for a genuine warming experience of French hospitality. Across the road from a high end restaurant 1131 inside a monastery that was also a highlight of our trip to this town.

This rustic cottage in the tiny but tranquil hamlet of Bruant is the perfect place for a short stopover when travelling from the Alps or southern France to the Channel, or for visiting the gastronomic marvel that is Dijon. We stayed just one night but the welcome from the owner (Laeticia) was warm and the cottage is comfortable and good value for its large size. It seemed like we were staying in someone's home. NB there is just one bathroom (downstairs) and bed linen and towels are provided for a small supplement (this is quite normal with French gîtes). Also, there is a cat, but it did not bother us.
