Impeccably clean, beautiful peaceful location stunning views, you will want for nothing and the host is always at the end of the phone if you need him… cannot wait to return soon and will definitely book The Shepards Hut!! 5* plus!!

On arrival to the property, it did not dissapoint. The location is even more stunning than the photos. After parking up, Brendan was there ready to take us down to our lodge with our luggage via a buggy - it was great! The lodge was clean and came with everything you'd need for a break away. Our hottub was also already lit meaning it was ready to use straight away! The location was great and only a short drive away from Banbury itself and our hosts kindly showed us the foot paths leading to the local pub. A 10/10 break away and we will definitley be back! So spacious lovely tranquil location in a pretty village. Everything you needed was supplied including toiletries even tea coffee and sugar which is not expected in self catered accommodation

Jessica and Sam were gracious, kind and humble hosts who would do anything to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. We found the rooms and beds very comfortable and did not want for anything. Biscuits, tea and coffee facilities in room were much appreciated and shower was great. Kids said that the tv and wifi was the best they had on our tour around Scotland, England and the continent. Cooked breakfast was great though we all missed our favorite black pudding on the second day. Jessica generously gave us some fruit to take for our continued road trip. Thanks!

Great cottage in a quiet location. Parking next to the cottage. The cottage has everything you need and is clean and homely. The rooms are spacious - more than you would expect as it looks smaller from the outside. The bed is comfortable and it is lovely having large bath in a spacious bathroom. We didn’t cook but the kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer if you plan a longer stay. We popped over to the George and Dragon for a meal which is a 4 minute drive. Really a lovely place and a wonderful stay.

While the room is on the top level of the house, that offers pristine seclusion. I very much enjoyed the lounge, which is perfect for getting work done or watching television. The host is kind and informative, and her dog is such a joy! She'll bark like mad when you arrive, but she's really just a sappy galoot.

Nice well equipped room with comfortable beds and private parking. A really nice breakfast but the real plus was the outstanding welcome from Darren and Sian and the easy walking access to the centre of Banbury.
