A beautiful converted barn, wonderfully decorated, everything you could want for self catering plus a basket of sweet & savoury ‘goodies’ which was a lovely touch. Very comfortable beds, superb views and a picturesque village, has a village shop and beautiful church

Very clean & comfortable. The beds were so comfy ! Fridge stocked with milk . Everything you need for a stay away from home. Rooms are freshly decorated and are really clean. Hosts David & Sarah were great very helpful & friendly.. They also own the pub the Wheel Inn its a 5 minute drive from property, which serves such good food. ( Definitely recommend homemade burger ).

A beautiful room, comfortable and warm with a hearty breakfast. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The bathroom was beautifully appointed with a spacious shower and bath option. Bed was soft and comfortable. Plenty of charging points for devices and good internet connection. The host was gracious and friendly.

Breakfast was amazing- spoilt for choice! Yogurt/cereal/fruit and a full cooked breakfast with fresh orange juice! Perfect! The bed was also a highlight- very comfy indeed! & the underfloor heating was a real bonus which we didn’t expect but made our stay even more comfortable & decor in the room was very tasteful too!

Everything was perfect, honestly can't recommend this place highly enough. Really easy to find, especially thanks to the helpful messages from the host prior our stay. The site itself is beautiful. There are only 3 huts plus a communal 'bar' tent, so it's very private and peaceful. There are lots of nice walks and pubs/restaurants within the area which we found using the handy guide in our hut. The bed was very comfy and hut was cosy and very well equipped. There was a log burner and underfloor heating which was a great addition, although the hut was warm and cosy even in bad weather so we didn't need to use it. The highlight was definitely the hot tub. Chris very kindly showed us how to use it and we got it up and running with ease. Very nice to sit in and look over the lake, even in the rain! The screen around it added to the privacy from the other huts. I'll stop rambling now, but basically if you're thinking of staying here, stop hesitating and just book!
