This place is magic. I loved my stay. Everything you need. Peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable. Extremely clean, and everything is well thought out and considered to allow an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Wish I could of stayed another night. Excellent hosts. I had travelled down from the north for an interview in Stanstead, Kaye let me stay beyond my check out, this allowed me to prepare a little more for the interview. Which went very well. My advice - give the potting shed a go, you will wish you found this gem earlier, keep an eye out for the barn owl. Bliss.

It was an enjoyable stay, albeit a short one. Edi & Dan are wonderful hosts and were quick to respond to our questions. It was everything we’ve hoped for. For those planning their trip, I’d highly recommend staying there. It’s close to the airport, but we didn’t hear any airplane noises whatsoever, or any noises for that matter. I suggest you take a train from Stansted Airport to Stansted Mountfitchet, as it’s about 7 minute walk to the property, as taxi might be pricey (we paid £45 for this short ride).

The staff were lovely, the room was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, the Timothy Taylor beer perfect. I especially loved the mini-fridge with bottle of milk in (and cereal).

The appartement was very clean and confortable . Perfectly situated 6 minutes on the train from the airport and the train station Just across the road. We will probably book again at some point.

Hello to everyone who is looking for an apartment for a stay of a few days or longer. I was supposed to spend two nights, but the owner turned out to be such a wonderful person that we stayed for four. Paul is a very kind and helpful man, and we felt at home in the apartment, you can there to relax in peace from the everyday hustle and bustle. The cottage guest house was a great base for us whilst in the area for a wedding. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, we would definitely stay again.
