Joanne met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house to show us where everything is and she explained how the heating works etc. Her and Dale live and work on the farm so are close at hand. We found them to be a very friendly couple and the farm is very efficiently run and kept very clean! The surroundings are idyllic and we regularly saw squirrels, pheasants and deer. My husband was delighted at the conkers we collected too! Howden is close by and it's a charming friendly town which we fell in love with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the various day trips to Beverley (Saturday market) Scarborough, Bridlington and Goole. Thank you Joanne and Dale for your hospitality. We're planning to return when we can xxxxx

its quiet, classy, comfortable and the beer is very good. your music is excellent although was a bit intermittent. in the silent dining room it was better with that gentle music on rather than off.

The room was so spacious and spotlessly clean! Bed comfortable...everything we needed. Host suggested a walk on the river bank, which was lovely!

It's a quite and good place to stay. Apart from the fact that the host was a nice person, the people nearby are also nice and welcoming people, from the BURGER SHOP MAN who made a delicious ITALIAN PIZZA for me; he also charged my dead phone for me. I can never forget how the GROCERY SHOP LADY helped me charged my phone for more than 2hours with her charger the second morning because I wasn't with me charger and I needed to boost my phone. Humber is a home away from home.

Load of space, clean, plenty of take aways and goole town nearby. The owner is super helpful and replies very quickly to your messages. Definitely recommend and will be returning again in the near future

We had the Captain Morgan apartment which was larger than expected and was very well presented and fully equipped. Has probably the biggest bed I've ever seen! Located in a quiet part of the town so very little noise. The hosts live on site and couldn't be more helpful and attentive.
