The villa was immaculate and very large. Excellent layout and very well equipped. The owner was massively helpful and his uncle was always on hand. He took the customer service to the next level. He was amazing and is a credit to the owner. He brought us eggs from his chickens and gave us peaches from his trees. My uncle also speaks a little greek so owners uncle and my uncle had a natter most mornings. Iv travelled alot to crete and greece in general. Stayed in lots of villa's and this was by far the best. We was really really well looked after. Thanks again and see you soon.

We arrived late from our flight but George kindly left a key for us. His beautiful mother had made us muffin and biscuits which were exceptional. His father clearned the pool every morning. Also his mother made us more Greek deserts during our stay. Beautiful,beautiful people!! The view was amazing and the pool just a dream. The entire Villa was perfect for our stay , we are seasoned travellers and this villa if you want your own privacy and serenity is the ideal location. I would suggest hiring a car but we managed walking down to rethymno and getting a taxi back when we needed food supplies. The two local tavernas are a few minutes away offering homemade food and both Stella & Elena the owners of each couldn't be more hospitable I'm not easily impressed but I can assure anyway Villa Maria is just a magical place to have a lovely holiday. Thanks again Simon and family x
