Very nice location, close to old city centre, restaurants and near many hiking tracks. Wonderful view. Very clean, cozy and welcoming. Perfectly equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Felt like we are at home. There's plenty of room for two and even more a family of many people. Parking spot right in front of the house. Owners took care of everything - met us in check in and made sure we feel comfortable, communication was fast and friendly, suggested the best restaurants and even booked a table for us in a restaurant. I will recommend Villa Ola to all my friends that want to go to Barrea. I'd like come back and spend some more time there.

The location was nice. Just 10 minutes walking to the center and enjoying the lake view during the walk. The breakfast was also lovely with four kinds of home made cake’s. Nice coffee, juice, milk for kids. Just in front of the house there is a small kids playground.

Beautifully situated among the historic, narrow, winding pedestrian-only streets, this two-story apartment is a gem. Right where you want to be for walking in the town, down to the lake....just perfect. My wife and I can't wait to go back. Parking is easy, as is everything else form getting the keys to getting around. The host went out of her way to provide videos on how to get to the front door, collect the keys, and so much info re where to go and what to do for activities and eating out. We have become friends. Barrea is fantastic. Nowhere near as busy as Villetta di Barrea...perfectly representative of what people expect a small town on a hill in Italy to be, and this apartment is ideal to make the best of anyone's stay there. Go for it!
