The family was very welcoming and helpful. The daughter spoke very good English, which helped overcome our almost non existant Italian.The facilities and rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with an outdoor bbq if required. The aircon was really cool. There was a lounge with a TV and Netflix. Outside, there was a large private patio with dining tables and an area with swinging chairs sheltered from the sun and overlooking the carrubbo, olive, and fig trees. Very quiet at night. And the local town has several good eating places which don't open until around 7.30 but rapidly fill up when they do. The family has a restaurant and gelateria down at the coast. The ice cream is genuinely wonderful, I have had a lot of Italian ice cream, and this ranks in the top 3. It is a good base to see Modica, Ragusa, and Notto. But we just enjoyed being there for a few days as well.

Everything! I cannot praise Giovanni & his staff highly enough. The hospitality was excellent. The food & wine were fantastic. The agriturismo is in a peaceful location but near Modica & an easy drive to Noto. We wanted peace & quiet after a busy few days sightseeing & this lovely property was perfect. The pool area is beautiful & there’s a wonderful spa where I had a relaxing massage.

Property is ideally located and fitted with all one needs for a comfortable stay. Both inside and outside areas are perfect. The hosts are very nice people, and the welcome lemon cake was delicious. Thank you so much!!

this agriturismo is a working farm growing ancient grains organically. they have a bakery and farm store. when I got sick they were happy to extend our stay and got a neighbor doctor to come help. wonderful kind people. great room
