Perfect location. we felt like we were on top of the world! SPECTACULAR VIEW - over olive trees we could see the nearby towns and villages, hills and valleys... The owners Fabio and his son Lorenzo took great care of us and were extremely helpful: gave us directions to the nearby restaurants and shops, helped in purchasing local prosciutto and we left with a 5liter jug of their own olive oil (yummy) and some bottles of wine - bought for a very reasonable price.

Nice accommodation in beautiful countryside. The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were tasty and sufficient. The only thing I would add is a couple of towel hooks in the bathroom and some fan in the room:)

The owner Cristiana made us feel like family and right at home from the beginning, making us a caffe and making sure we had all information necessary for a great and safe trip within the area. Her English is exceptional (we’re working on our Italian! :)) ) and she gave us a tour of her gorgeous property, wedding venue and a complimentary bottle of wine to begin our stay. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to come back with more of our family! Il Pillone carries the heart of what we love of the people, culture, peace and beauty of Italy.
