The highlight of our journey. An absolutely amazing experience. We booked this place late in the evening, and it turned out that booking.com didn't mention that they were closed because of a family gathering. Nonetheless the owner's son contacted us and he arranged us to stay in the house. It is an apartment run by a single family, and they welcomed us with the utmost love and openness. Even though we didn't want to bother their evening party, they invited us to join the dinner, with traditional Italian cuisine. We had a wonderful meal, had an amazing chat, and got to be part of a real Italian experience. We even received a serenade when finally we felt like going to bed after a long day. An experience we will never forget! Thank you Federico for you and your wonderful parents!

Our idea was to visit Cinque Terre, so the location if you go by car is perfect, close to La Spezia to catch the train at the central station. The owner was very kind, he shared basic information with us and they have a free check-in system which makes it very convenient especially when you arrive at night. The house has what is necessary for short stays and was clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable and the sofa bed for the kids was fine too.

Outstanding marvelous view out of windows as the village is high in the mountain - over the valley with river snd bridge, Comfortable beds, fresh towels and linen. Very detailed instructions from the host with fotos - how to find the apartment. Free parking in the center of the village. As it is an appartment in old historic house in the mountain village, so it has its’ own specific - you have to be ready 1. to bring your luggage from parking to appt via cable road with some steps - it is not far, around 100-200 meters. 2. The second bedroom doesn‘t have window. There is a Pizzeria (Osteria) on the way to the apartment - great pizza from the stone oven - highly recommended!!! If you want to have a seat there, you need to make a reservation, but you could order and get your pizza with you in 15-20 min and eat at appartment.
