We loved our stay at the Shan Mango Homestay and would highly recommend it! The hosts, Chulané and Sugath, are incredibly nice and we felt very welcome. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace or taking a dip in the pool which is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of mango trees. The breakfast was also great. Chulané and Sugath served different Sri Lankan specialties, eggs, toast and fresh fruit (including self-grown mangos of course) every morning. Our highlight was cooking together with the family. We learned how to prepare sambol and 4 different curries - and everything was delicious! We also went on a great jeep safari with Chulané’s cousin where we saw at least 20 elephants :)

· I had an absolutely incredible stay at this accommodation in Sigiriya! The location was simply breathtaking, nestled right in the heart of Sri Lanka's stunning natural beauty. The eco-friendly wooden house was a real treat, and it was clear that the hosts had gone to great lengths to make sure it was as sustainable and comfortable as possible.

We recommend staying in this cute little Hotel. It s clean, with comfy beds, a rain shower, and a nice little balcony with a view of the garden. We spotted black-faced monkeys, a mongoose, and those big squirrels. The family is so welcoming, they offer to cook dinner (it was delicious every single time) and the included breakfast is delicious too (fruit, coffee tea toasts, and two Sri Lanka specialties that change every morning). They helped us plan our trip and are truly wonderful people. We extended our stay and loved it. Will come back :)

· Omg this place was insane! We chose a New room and it was so pretty there! Also, in the morning lot of birds on the tree just next to our door and I could see them from the window, I totally fall in love with this place. The owner of the hotel has great cooking skills as well and he offered to cook for us everyday which was absolutely amazing! Totally worth going there :) we are joining that owner to learn how to cooking Sri Lanka traditional foods.

The Place is bit into Jungle and we could see Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala rock to our room Balcony. Room is very big. Premises is very big with a wall and an electric fence, just to avoid elephants. But we can see elephants in jungle area to our room. Place is so calm and no noise at all. Had a very good time there at Pavona Lake.
