Location is perfect right in centre of Assen and while fairly plain furniture it was comfortable, clean, and plenty of room. Breakfast is excellent too!! Gets you off to a great start for the day of touring!!

Miranda was such a great host, she had everything taken care of and would easily sort anything not taken care of. Rooms were spacious, as was the bathroom, and guests were given access to a kettle, cutlery, and the garden. Located a 3 minute walk from the Marsdijk shops and from a bus stop, it's a perfect place for a traveller.

Breakfast was do it yourself style but sufficient and tastefull thanks to the welcome basket with groceries and the filled fridge. For the two of us it was enough for three mornings! Also a bottle of wine was offered as a welcome present. It is a very comfortable place to stay and offers a lot of privacy. If you are lucky, you can spot a deer in the backyard. The place can very well be used as a holliday home for a longer stay because it is equipped with all the neccessary equipment to prepare your own meals. A bakery and a bar / restaurant are at walking distance, supermarkets not far away in the next village.
