this was the best place we stayed in Madeira. all of the little details to make the stay more comfortable had been thought of! I would definitely stay again very quiet, apart from an occasional goat and local dogs - all the beds are comfortable for adults. the upstairs bed is a huge king and is especially comfortable - free laundry - including a washer, dryer, and soap - a lovely fire place - good location for hikes on the east side of the property

Everything exceeded our expectations. The photos simply cannot capture the timeless charm or quality of detail of the cottage or the magnificence of the entire property. The place was spotlessly clean and fresh. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, kitchen facilities generous and water pressure/heat excellent. Check-in and entry via rental car was easy and the owner, Filipe, made us feel very welcome. The location was the ultimate "close yet far away" lodging experience we crave.

We stayed as a family with two children. Everything was just perfect and even more. House is freshly renovated and everything inside is new, very clean. Contact with the owner is outstanding, we did get all the answers to our questions immediately. Location of the house aslo is great, 15 min to airport and 20 min to Funchal. Nearby restaurant makes wonderful meals at a very affordable price. All around one of the best experiences we had! Definitely must book if it’s still available!

Dinis was a gracious host and went out of his way to help us with our requests. We had a wonderful time staying in the area, with a nice walk along the levada, and had some memorable barbeques in the garden.
