My Chicago O'Hare flight arrived at midnight and I didn't arrive at the Comfort Inn Bourbonnais until 1:50 AM, but the staff was at the desk and graciously and efficiently checked me in. The lobby area was well-lit and welcoming. The TV in my room would not change channels and when I mentioned it to the front desk the next day, the person came to my room immediately--the remote sensor for the channel remote had fallen behind the chest on which the TV sat and was quickly and easily adjusted. (Perhaps that could be checked routinely before guests arrive or adjusted for a more permanent solution, but the staff was attentive to my need.) The breakfast had hot options available and was clean and well-maintained when I was in the eating area--the tables were clean and items were in stock. The staff was friendly and helpful--the next day I used a hotel luggage cart to bring in some more of my items from my car. When I went to return the cart, one of the staff members (not housekeeping) was in the hallway to do something else and voluntarily offered to return the cart for me when she went back to the lobby. The hotel was quiet--with my late arrival, I slept late the next morning and was not disturbed by hallway sounds even though I was near the pool.

Great value. Very good breakfast. Place was very clean and extremely convenient: a short walk to Cracker Barrel and near the I-57, too. Good-sized room, too.

I stay in a lot of hotels, mostly in the Comfort Hotel collection, this was the FIRST trurely handicapped accessible hotel I have ever stayed in despite asking. This hotel was designed for handicapped customers from day one and it shows.. from the lowered check in desk (making it accessible and easy for wheelchair users) to the huge floor level shower which can accommodate a wheelchair or walker ( I used the fold down seat in the shower) Beyond that, breakfast was perfect with real plates and silverware ( a first for hotel breakfasts). Overall it was a wonderful place to stay
