GermanyModern & clean room with everything you need. A good location to the ski area with a bus (3 minutes ride). Friendly staff. Sauna was amazing! After a long day with skiing, it was great to go to sauna and relax. We stayed here over the new year, and the fireworks on the new year's eve were wonderful. There is a playground outside, and my kids loved to play there, and they had fun with sledding. The ski area has nice ski area for kids, and my kids had a good ski lesson there. Highly recommended for families with kids!

We had an amazing stay at Dormio Aparthotel Hinterstoder.
We had an amazing stay at Dormio Aparthotel Hinterstoder. The location is absolutely wonderful, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and offering a perfect place to relax and unwind. The hotel rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped.
A special mention goes to the staff, who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary Hinterstoder cable car tickets, which added great value to our holiday and allowed us to enjoy the stunning mountain views.
I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Austrian Alps.
The only suggestion for improvement would be to install a kitchen extractor hood/chimney in the apartments. When cooking, we had to keep the balcony door open to prevent the fire alarm from being triggered. Apart from this minor issue, everything was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A nice place for a relaxed winter holiday.
A nice place for a relaxed winter holiday. Lovely walks/cross country trails along the valley, beautiful mountain views all around. The downhill skiing area is a decent size with a good range of slopes and handily arranged around a central middle station making it easy to meet up with friends/family. Lift queues not too bad most of the time. NB the ski passes have dynamic pricing. There is a good free ski bus service along the main roads. We did also try the "naturrodelbahn" (sledge run) near Landhotel Gressenbauer but this was very disappointing, it is quite short and despite being "open" the snow had not been groomed, so it didn't slide well.

Very helpful and hospitable owners, flexible, smooth communication in English. The host provided us with the Phyrn-Priel Active Card for all days of our stay, which we appreciated. The location of Gästehaus Fortuna is ideal - near to grocery shop and to restaurants, still very quiet. Ideal to go around Hinterstoder or to drive to Vorderstoder or Spital.

I like this place very much.
I like this place very much. It is a small picturesque village and perfect for skiing with children. You can walk everywhere and you will find a choice of restaurants to have a pleasant dinner. We went to Dorfstub'n, Jaidhaus and Stoda and all three were very nice. Due to Covid some of the other restaurants we called only serve own hotel guests, though. Hinterstoder is also worth a trip in summer if you like being active.

This was my first stay at this hotel and in Hinterstoder overall. First of all, the direct proximity to the lower gondola station; secondly, the interior design resembling a university campus, which I particularly liked; thirdly, a very comfortable and interesting room with a modern bathroom; fourthly, very good breakfasts (egg lovers will be happy); and finally, I will definitely come back.

Nice cozy hotel on a hill near Hinterstoder. Rooms with a mountains view, very nice staff. Standard breakfast. Choice of 3 main courses for dinner, soup and desert is also included, we liked everything.

It is a modern hotel tastefully decorated, spacious room, fully equipped kitchenette with Nespresso machine. Very nice spa and a little gym. Wide choice of products for breakfast.
