The gardens and surrounding nature are beautifully tranquil, and the on-site golf course is a real highlight — challenging, scenic, with rivers running through and lovely mature trees. Aside location, which is stunning, the place is huge and an absolute surprise. The rooms are big and bright, cozy and warm. We had dinner every evening in the restaurant and did not get disappointed. We totally recommend to take a property tour, it will help you understand better how that place runs and where did it started. We are absolutely pleased with the castle/fortress and with the people who keep that place running so good.

The hostess was lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very good and presented well; nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, well appointed and had everything you reasonably would need. I can only imagine in summer that the hotel is even more beautiful and charming.
