This location, located outside the town center, is quiet and peaceful. It's a great base for hiking in the surrounding mountains.

We visited hotel in the summer season. Hotel is located on the hiking trails, which is very convenient. Hotel is surounded by beautiful nature and animals in the direct area just enhanced the alpine atmosphere. We fell in love with the view immediately and asked for possibility to change the room with the view into the valley. Ladies working there were so kind and with a smile on their face tried their best and found one room for us. Ladies working at the restaurant were always super kind, we felt so welcomed ☺️ Breakfasts were my favourite, various kinds of yoghurts, amazing fruit salad, cereals, but also eggs, meat, cheese, fresh breads and rolls everyday, everything one can wish for. I recommed this accomodation ☺️

Best quality services for the money we paid. The location is excellent, with great view from the balcony. In the room we had everything we needed, including a big refrigerator and microwave.

It was so absolutely clean that it looked like a recent renovation. Whether it was or not, it was just about perfect. It is five minutes from the ski bus stop (once an hour - warning, it came a couple of minutes early, so don't try to cut it close), and just a little more to the train station, so no car needed for your ski trip. Proprietor was very accomodating of my wish to leave my luggage for a day of skiing after I checked out.

It was a beautiful place! Runned by a lovely lady! Its next to the skilifts in the winter really good or in the summer for hiking! Slept really good everything is clean it got all you need, And in the morning a tasty breakfast! And she made coffee for me so I would say 10/10 stay. Don't waste time by looking at pictures and reviews just book it !

The hotel was great! Very friendly staff and owners, location very nearby Grossarl and ski lifts. Breakfast and evening meals were good, more than sufficient and for the children separate menu's were available. Our family room was clean, spacious had a perfect layout with a small separate mezzanine where the children slept. Last but not least, there was an issue with our stay dates and they kindly asked us to arrive and leave a day earlier. We accepted this and as a thank you we received a voucher to spend in the hotel bar. We recommend staying there, we will come again if we go back to Grossarl. Well done Hotel Schiederhof!

A truly 5 star experience, from the moment you walk in the hotel you feel like a queen or king. So many things to do. Start so friendly.

Everything was great! Very good breakfast, wonderful dinner - thanks to the chefs! Great location - close to the ski lift. Very comfortable rooms. Large wardrobe for two, which is very important when you come to ski. The spa area is very nice. We had a wonderful holiday. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Mountain Views and food. Dinner and breakfast are fantastic. The quality of food is good. I like their homemade jam and spread but all are good. It was my birthday during my stay and the people from the hotel prepared a little birthday surprise for me. I appreciated it a lot. So lovely! The staffs there also very friendly.I would like to come back again.

I like such family run berghotel. Everything was lovely, the accommodation and food, the wellness looked fantastic, although we did not have time to go inside.

Very nice and welcoming staff. They don't speak English very well so some basic knowledge of German is recommended, however they make up for it with very open attitude and hospitality. My room was spacious, with super comfortable beds and comfortable bathroom. It had all the amenities I could wish for. The location of the hotel is absolutely superb - close to the centre of Grossarl (very nice) and literally on the slope. You can reach ski lift literally directly from hotel's door. With this ski lift you can ski the whole Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area which provides plenty of excellent slopes. Finally, I recommend hotel's restaurant. It serves excellent buffet breakfasts and very good dinners. It's absolutely worth the money it costs. It is also very convenient to have this restaurant in the same building as accommodation. I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and I hope I'll return to it in the coming years. I wish the whole Grossarl / Gastein valley community better winter conditions than in winter of 2023/24 because it's clear that there were many investments in the whole skiing area and it's very well prepared for skiers.

It is wonderfully located, immaculately clean with friendly staff, and boasts a fantastic wellness area. I recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect retreat.

Wonderful facilities, particularly the swimming pools and sauna area, separate adults-only sauna area. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet, high quality 4-course evening meal for only €20 extra, fantastic value, particularly the gala dinner. Location very close to lifts and ski shops - we used the ski depot at the lift station which was very conveniently located (next to the excellent Rambazambar) Friendly and efficient staff in restaurant and at reception, immaculately clean rooms and public areas. Non-skiers in the group enjoyed the daily (free) activities, including yoga and hikes. Skiers enjoyed the local Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area, and easy 15 minute bus links to Alpendorf and Bad Hofgastein

The rooms were clean, featuring modern furnishings and comfortable beds. The view from the balcony was also very pleasant. The entire hotel was spotless, with daily housekeeping service. The staff was very friendly, regularly ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh food. After leaving our passports at the hotel, the communication with the staff was excellent - they promptly and efficiently helped us retrieve them in no time.
