Nice clean quiet good staff, good beer

Very nice location with great mountain view, close to attractions like Obertauern Region, but also Lungau. Spacious rooms , comfy double beds and a huge balcony. Quite nice breakfast, with an option to order in addition soft boiled eggs too. Dinner could be enjoyed on the terrace too where we could bring along our dog too. our hosts were friendly, gave all support needed. The inner pool is big, with a nice view to the mountains as well.

Hotel is 8min from Obertauern and ski lifts by car which is perfect. The staff is great, hotel is clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay there.

Location is perfect for starting many hikes, very peaceful and calm sorounded by nature. The hosts are very welcoming and they help you with everything you need. We would definitly come back in summer or winter.

Amazing location with fair prices and very friendly staff.

Friendly staff, useful lounge, plenty of hot water for showers, comfortable beds, toilets on landing were useful. Breakfast was reasonable but toaster didn’t turn off and was broken. Photos of hotel in older times was an interesting exhibit on the walls.

Breakfast was good, it met our expectations. Location of the hotel is excellent, close to everything. In the hotel, there is a bakery that has nice cakes and pastries. Staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is on the high level.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, always ready to provide useful advice. The family room for four was spacious, well-organized, and felt much more comfortable than a typical hotel room. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with plenty of variety and fresh options for the whole family. We would gladly return here during the winter as well.

The hotel is completely renovated, location is great. Breakfast is amazing, as well as spa and gym with a view on slopes. Only pool area need some refreshment. I also loved service upon arrival, concierge took care of car, skis and our laguage.

Fantastic location next to ski lift. Very good food. They prepared us gluten-free meals upon our request.

Very clean and spacious. Access to the slopes right outside the door. The food was excellent. Istvan and the restaurant team kept us well fed and entertained all week.

Staff were brilliant, they work hard and it's so well run.The ski lift is right next to the hotel, it's amazing. Restaurant food is fabulous and great value for money. The receptionists and waiters are so nice and helpful.

Perfect location, on a ski slope, just by the enterance to 2 ski lifts (Edelweiss and Platten) - you practically enter ski lift from the hotel. We had breakfast and dinner included, which were creative and delicious. The staff were great, really pleasant and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable with typical alpine furniture. We also used sauna and gym which were clean and well equipped.

Ski in - ski out hotel (just a few meters walk). Close to the main road but the soundproof windows insulated very well so the nights were really quiet. Very kind and helpful staff, nice and cozy wellness for relaxing after a day's skiing. Good breafast and also possibility to have dinner if anybody is interested. Overall - very good value for money as it is right in Obertauern.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They were flexible regarding the check in. The view from the balcony is amazing. The location is perfect it is in the center near to the shops, restaurants, bars, ski slopes.

This is was our fifth holiday in Austria and for the first time with our daughter. We picked Hotel Schneider mostly due to possibility of having a family suite with additional, small room for the child and it proved to be a very good choice. It has excellent breakfasts, very good location just above ski-lift and very nice, big ski lockers in which we could put not only boots and skis but also ski jackets. Our suite was really spacious with a lovely mountain view. Beds were comfortable, although I personally prefer harder mattresses. We liked the fact there were many wardrobes, since it is very handy when on ski holiday you can place all your clothes and even suitcases away in them, and not on the floor. The pool is very nice, quite large comparing to other we have encountered in similar hotels and with quite warm water (no chilling effect while entering it). Large SPA area is perfect to have some rest and get warm after all day of skiing. The staff was very helpfull and polite, which is a trademark in Austria in general in our opinion, and this hotel was no exception. We will surely consider it again if we decide to come to Obertauern again.

The location was perfect. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. Room was spacious and clean with nice balcony and lots of closet space. We enjoyed the sauna and even thought the food was the same it was tasty.
