The room was immaculate with attention to all details. The wet bar and bathroom were stocked with the appropriate amenities. The coolest thing was the blinds closing after we left and opening automatically when we came back into the room. We had a great view of the old church and the park which was very nice. The location was walkable to the mall and train station, which was also a plus. The view of the Oval from the restaurant and bar was great, too.

From the minute we arrived, we were treated like royalty with a warm greeting from Christopher, who was an exceptional staff member. We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome glass of Champagne and having our bagged attended to promptly. We were so looking forward to our stay and it exceeded our expectations. The Tour with Christopher was fantastic with his wealth of knowlege - and was a definitely a highlight! Thank you so much - and we will be back!

The reception staff was awesome, very very welcoming and friendly, had a nice chat, got some tips for Adelaide - that's how it should be. Nice room with big windows - there's not much view, but that's not the hotel's fault, this corner is a bit more residential than old town - and therefore also quiet at night. Quiet room, nice beds, everything looks quite new. Walking to the city centre is about 10-15mins, as is to the National Wine Centre. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves good food for dinner and also a decent breakfast. The car can be safely stored in a garage at an alley behind the hotel.

An absolutely charming city, fantastic limestone architecture and houses. People great, wonderful wineries within a couple of hours driving. - we spent first week in Adelaide CBD then 10 days by car staying at Robe, Penola, and Victor Harbour. Wonderful holiday! This city is a hidden gem.

This city is a hidden gem. We spent two days here but could have spent 3 to 4 days. We visited Carrick Hill which was very interesting house and garden. I hired a car, traffic was busy but not as manic as Sydney. Not sure if public transport is good. Botanical gardens were great and free. These are close to the zoo so parking was a bit busy but we found a space. Need to pay at paystation before leaving your vehicle. We found two hours to be sufficient to visit the gardens. We did not go to the zoo but it looked popular. Hahndorf is an interesting town to visit. There's a German feel to the town with many restaurants. Mount lofty is also a good place for the views. There's a good cafe at the top.

I was there for an emergency medical family member so didn't have time to look at city features. The best restaurant for us was Osteria Oggi. The food and service was amazing. Another good restaurant was La Trattoria another Italian restaurant with genuine Italian food. Also great was the City Markets, It was very easy to get around. The tram service is awesome and Taxi and Ubers were easily available

Love Adelaide I would happy to come live there, better than Melbourne for sure. Plenty of nice places to visit. We had coffee at Pressed located near Myer great food, friendly staff. Went Coopers Ale pub that was also very nice friendly staff. Went to gin distilery which also had great food and lovely staff. Our actual reason for coming to Adelaide was for our son's wedding and the reception was held at the Brea on the old Princess Hwy and the owners were awesome the venue was old and rustic. .

Adelaide is such a beautiful City it is easy to negotiate travelling around the City - Central Markets would have to be the best Market I have been to in Australia - Rundle Mall a pedestrian street is a pleasure to scroll through with lovely stores. The River area & the bridge is so lovely as is the Architecture, Churches & plenty of Activities on the calendar with lots of community events - Entertainment & food / eateries & top class restaurants abound... Not to mention out of the City the tours to The Wine regions Barossa Valley / Clare Valley / McLaren Vale - Then there is the Adelaide Hills so much more to see & explore... Something for everyone including the Zoo for the kids & Shows at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre...

Loved our stay at this Hotel Grand Chancellor as you are so close to all the attributes Adelaide CBD has to offer. For example, the iconic Rundle Mall, Sky Casino, public transport ( which is free in the CBD ) and a huge array of cafes and restaurants scattered all around the streets and laneways. The room was spacious and the bedding comfortable. The hotel offered an excellent pool, bar and restaurant, with happy hour on daily. The included breakfast each day offered a lot of variety and was plentiful.

Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but several very good cafes within 10 minutes walk. Hotel is close to public transport but quite a long way from CBD attractions such as the Zoo, Theatres, Adelaide oval. We were caught out one night when a football game finished at the same time as a footy game and had to walk as there was no room on buses, trams, Ubers or taxis.
