An ideal place to stay to stop or use even as a base when exploring the Great Ocean Road. Kangaroos were even seen hopping by from the terrace in the morning. Close to the centrum/beach on foot. Friendly owner, spacious kitchen/common place. Good opportunity to meet up and chat with other travellers.

Stunning Stay in this great bush location just outside Torquay. It was our last day on the Great Ocean Road and this was just the best way to end for us two Kiwis - a little bit of glam surrounded by trees and tranquility. Booking and Communication was easy and great value for money. We loved it - great comfy bed and everything super clean and tidy. Can't fault this accomodation - if you are a visitor to Australia and want something better than a hotel stay - This is it - about 5kms from town so not far to go for food and drinks if required.

Stayed in caravan park where I looked out on trees, always my happy place It was a shame the caravan park had bright street lights making it impossible to see the Aurora Australia 0 even if there was no cloud cover

Lots of nature, quiet family-oriented location, plenty to see and explore. Love the pockets of stores here and there. Plenty of Op shops which we loved exploring and scoring some little treasures You have to visit here it's an amazing place!

We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea.

We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. It’s an excellent location for kids with many different activities. The beds in the cabins were so comfortable too!

A beautiful beachside suburb surrounded by bushland & minutes away from the Great Ocean Road. Adequate options for food & drink though they vary in standard however all are top $$ for what one gets.

Anglesea is a stunning beachside town about an hour from...

Anglesea is a stunning beachside town about an hour from Melbourne and half an hour form Geelong. The beach is the absolute draw card which means the town can get particularly busy during Summer and peak holidays times such as long weekends. Anglesea has an abundance of different beaches and walking tracks as well as a range of native animals and birds. There are a range of coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants a supermarket, pub and bowls and surf club all within walking distance.

A quiet sleepy place.

A quiet sleepy place. More of a stopover (which is what we used it for) than a destination. However, I can imagine that it would be good for surfers. The beach was beautiful, but the water was cold. Does the 'Southern Ocean' ever get warm? (we visited in Feb)
