Location was beautiful, gardens and outdoor areas very well maintained. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Annabel was a delight and told us about all the local businesses, artists and things to do in the area. The home itself was very impressive and yet still homely and comfortable. Our room was superb and our host gave us an entertaining tour through history as we journey through the home. Annabel has thoughtfully and lovingly restored this home with a curated eye making it the perfect destination to slip away to for those rare moments of relaxation.

When you enter, you're greeted with a wonderful wafting of clean, fresh aromatherapy oils. NOT the dreaded perfume sticks that I always have to put outside. The room is laid out perfectly and very comfortably. The amenities are first class, and there are many thoughtful extras. (I'll let you enjoy discovering them for yourselves.) There's a great pub on the corner (very close, but not so close as to be noisy). Around the corner you'll find Crema, a fantastic hole-in-the-wall café that serves delightful treats and excellent coffee. The staff are as fun and friendly as you'd expect from a team of Aussie baristas. Further along is another great breakfast place with friendly and efficient service, Country Coffee. You're walking distance from pretty much everywhere you might need to go. It was the perfect location for me.
