The units behind the historic inn were well designed and equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette well supplied as described. The bathroom was functional. The room and its contents were clean. The room was very spacious. The menu at the inn was very good and on a busy night quite quick.

The place, I mean cellar door, Sisters Rock restaurant and the chalet are all nice and with excellent view for the surrounding countryside. Everything is a little bit pricey, but on the other hand carefully designed and serviced. It is affordable luxury. Would like to visit again, but then for 2 nights. The kitchen was better than in the description, it is true that there was neither hot plates nor oven. But there was a outdoor barbeque and a "funny" electrical cooker with a lid. The coffee machine was a miniature version of the traditional coffeeshop espresso-machines - I made really nice cappucino with it. The style of the Sisters Rock restaurant was fine-dining and we enjoyed excellent meal. I can recommend, if you like fine dining style

We recently stayed at Orchard Tiny Away and it was such a simple, wholesome escape — truly a home away from home. It felt beautifully remote and peaceful, yet still within arm’s reach of all the goodness that Orange has to offer. The tiny home is nestled on a family-owned and run apple orchard, which made the experience feel even more special and grounded. Tracey was incredibly humble and accommodating, making sure everything was comfortable and easy during our stay. If you’re interested, they also offer a tour of the farm — just be sure to request it ahead of time and keep in mind it depends on how busy things are during harvest season. Chris, gave his time to show us the time to roam the orchard, the views and pick all the apples we could physically carry. Overall, a genuinely relaxing and authentic country getaway. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to slow down and recharge. A special mention as well — it’s a stone’s throw from De Salis Vineyard, which we highly recommend booking for a golden hour tasting to really top off the experience. It was the perfect way to end the day, and even better bringing a bottle back to enjoy around the fire while watching a movie on the projector. Also, make sure to pack a decent jacket and appropriate clothing — Orange is known for getting quite cold, especially in the evenings. Will be back! 100%

The hotel is very quiet.

The hotel is very quiet. The only place to eat unless you want a drive is at the pub, where the food is very good, I had a very tender scotch fillet while mt partner had 4 beautifully cooked lamb cutlets washed down with a bottle of Tamborlaine Tempranillo

Cargo is off the beaten track and about 35 km from Orange.

Cargo is off the beaten track and about 35 km from Orange. The hotel is an historic building and has been added to over the years My only complaint was the limited range of beers on tap although the wine list was extensive and features quite a few al wines

Cargo is nice small town, and the Inn is a lovely old pub...

Cargo is nice small town, and the Inn is a lovely old pub with a bit of character and nice people, and well kept and popular with the locals, who like the tables along the verandah out front. The 6 rooms are a quite new build out behind and have all of the essentials, and there are two separate cabins that give a bit more space. They all have a nice outlook to rural views. We were after a quiet overnight stay in such a location, and it was good. The social activity in the bar and on the verandah can't be heard in the room and cabin accommodation, so it was restful in the evening.
