What a fun place. Our room had vantage furniture and rugs but totally modern bath. The restaurant had excellent food. The bed was comfortable and water hot. I felt very safe and secure.

The Cunnamulla Hot Pools is a must-do for anyone visiting...

The Cunnamulla Hot Pools is a must-do for anyone visiting Cunnamulla. The Zen Room is the perfect way to start the relaxation experience. Make sure you're there for the sunset BYO session. Cunnamulla Bushlands is another must-do for visitors who enjoy bird watching and learning about western Qld environments. The waterhole or billabong and its residents will enthrall you. Another perfect sunset opportunity. Cunnamulla Off The Rails is an essential activity. This informative, enjoyable and important 3D Light and Sound experience offers so much information about the place and its people. Just like the Hot Pools and the Bushlands, I'd see this again. Exploring Cunnamulla's streets on a gentle morning or late afternoon walk enables so many lovely discoveries. From beautiful bougainvillea spilling over fences or climbing huge trees, to the poignant information at The Robbers Tree, and the welcoming coffee stand at The Store across from John Kerr Park, you'll find all sorts of things to delight you. And then, just to make your day - go outside and look up at night. The stars will have you enthralled.

A must see in Cunnamulla is the Artesian Bath Complex.

A must see in Cunnamulla is the Artesian Bath Complex. It is very modern and sophisticated. Would also suggest visiting the Tourist Information to watch the short documentary film about the Great Artesian Basin.

Our stay there was a quiet, clean and comfortable.

Our stay there was a quiet, clean and comfortable. The accommodation had the appearance of a cute cottage and we felt very cozy there. The nighttime lighting at the front of the accommodation was very convenient and we also liked the appearance of the porch area and a bonus was that it had seating outside as well.

The artesian spa and set up is almost new.

The artesian spa and set up is almost new. Very well equipped with friendly staff. Brilliant location on the banks of the Warrego River with cockatoos and other birds flying around. The information centre was helpful and I went to the railway history show. Covered the early days with bullock wagons, camels and finally trains to take wool to market as well as a passenger life line to other towns and Brisbane. A number of locals appear in the presentation.

The Cunnamulla fella, nice little town in outback QLD.

The Cunnamulla fella, nice little town in outback QLD. All these small towns have a story to tell and generally tell it well. More city folk (not that I'm from a city) should make every effort to visit or unique and interesting outback towns

This town often gets a bad name but we found the opposite.

This town often gets a bad name but we found the opposite. We were greeted with happy and very friendly people in every establishment we visited. We had great meals at the Warrego hotel and a fantastic breakfast at the Cunnamulla coffee shop. The bakery was pretty good too. The roses growing around the main street are so beautiful and it is quite a tidy town. Loved it.

Didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with what I found. Older style hotel - room access via stairs. Room I had came with an ensuite - shower and toilet - nothing flash but totally adequate for what I needed. Great value for money. Had dinner both nights of my stay in the hotel dining room - excellent food. A very short walk to the artesian pool centre. Staff very obliging.

Beautiful property, with olde world features and fabulous staff, who made you feel like one of the family. Drinks and dinner available on the premises and close to the best activities in Cunnamulla. Lovely and well maintained gardens
