Pre-arrival pack had all the important info, sent to us a few days before our stay. The house itself had all the essentials we needed despite being tiny in size. With limited space, the hosts did a good job with utilising the space and creating a really comfortable experience. It was truly relaxing lying on the comfy bed, looking out the windows and reading a book or two. We went in May which is approaching winter time in Melbourne. Without heating, the blanket was comfortably warm. We even got to enjoy a little bit of outdoor fun with fire lit in the dedicated pit outside the house, despite the cloudy and rainy weather. The firewood provided was all damp but luckily we brought our own, bought from Bunnings.

A beautiful hotel set amongst landscaped cottage gardens and heritage buildings. Room was spacious and well appointed with everything we needed for our short stay - aircon, comfy bed, toiletries. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating. We stayed over Christmas and they called ahead to ensure we understood what facilities would be available during our stay.

Walking distance to excellent meals at the Lancefield hotel and the Lost Waterhole Brewery. Enjoyed our coffees and purchases at The Providor down town, especially the Walnut Sour Dough. The cottage had everything we needed, with thoughtful touches such as eggs in the fridge and a local red wine on the counter. The bed was super comfy . Very peaceful sitting on the verandah watching the birds flit through the garden, and sheep grazing over the road.

Glen Erin at Lancefield has a fitness centre, a garden and a sun terrace with swimming pool and buffet breakfast in Rochford.

Excellent communication; Tina was extremely helpful and our room was very comfortable with all we needed. We requested some information re places to eat and were given a few choices - the one we chose was superb.
