Hotel in Falls Creek
Diana Alpine Lodge offers accommodations in Falls Creek. The hotel has ski-to-door access, and guests can relax in front of the fire in the shared lounge area, or enjoy a drink at the bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful! With two lovely doggies which the kids can't stop playing with them. Breakfast was exceptional and in a very high standard which totally exceed my expectation! The location is also excellent! It is very close (<100) to the main road's car park as well as the ski lift. Two ski hire shops and a very decent restaurant are all right next to the hotel too. Note: For ski learner, it is easier to access to the training area through the ski lift in "home base" and which is about 4-500m from the hotel (so it is not a drama).

Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna. location is super convenient, just next door to Homebase where we can get our lift ticket and rentals, you just need to book online, click and collect. One of the lift is located just at the back door of the hotel with easy access from the room that we can lock up all the ski equipments. We are happy to find that there is a washing machine in the room with dry function together with a dry space where we can put our wet ski clothes. The hotel is also with walking distance from overnight parking, which made the whole checking in and checking out process very smooth, no need for additional shuttle. 1550 restaurant at the 2nd level is always warm and welcoming with lots of delicious food and friendly staff. Great rooms . Awesome facilities. Awesome food both fir dinner and breakfast and the wine and drinks at the bar was also Awesome then to top that off all that the staff are warm and welcoming would highly recommend the astra to everyone thanks for a memorable snow trip and we look forward to stay next year
The skiing at Falls Creek is wonderful and the people on the mountain are very friendly. We love this resort for its wide runs and great vibe. Sadly we went into lock-down after only one day of skiing so the lifts closed so we ended up on touring skis a new concept for us. Putting skins on your skis and releasing the binding to walk up the mountain then removing the skins and changing the binding to ski down. We saw the mountain a different way this time and the aqueduct walk was amazing. We love staying at Falls Creek Hotel the friendly vibe, log fire and superb food is terrific. Having a ski in/out and ski hire/shop below really helps.
We were in Falls Creek for the first time for a hike to Hotham Heights. It's a very attractive ski town, and all the locals were noticeably friendly. It was difficult to find a cafe in the off-season, and we were glad to have booked a restaurant for our dinners. The IGA store was well stocked. Hiking from Falls Creek was excellent, and we'd love to come back for skiing, but it's too difficult for us to get to in Winter when the high road is closed.
Great skiing for beginners. Lots of dining options to suit all tastes. Friendly staff teaching lessons and on the lifts. I would recommend not booking accommodation ahead of time for late in the season / Spring. There are lots of last minute accommodation options at that time. We had some people pull out and was left out of pocket because we couldn't cancel.
Very disappointed that my husbands lift pass couldn’t be refunded following a knee injury where the medical centre advised rest and zimmer splint and provided a medical certificate. No info was given or could be found re this policy and the staff couldn’t care less. Very unfair and profit driven as they did offer a 12 month credit but we may not return next year. I find this ‘goodwill’ offer poor practice, so of course we did what they wanted and spent the credit in their shops before leaving the mountain. 🤑 Most fast food on the mountain is unhealthy, chips, burgers, donuts, waffles, pizza etc with only few healthy options. Restaurants are better but pricier. Shuttle buses and drivers and all other mountain staff excellent
Great mountain for family ski trip. Friendly resort atmosphere, fantastic range of ski runs, easy access to quality food and drink on piste and in village. Kids loved SomePlace Else Bar and Grill for gourmet burgers.

Our trip to Falls Creek & stay at Feathertop is going to be memorable. The host Shana & her partner are absolutely warm, genuinely caring & lovely people. Feathertop hotel is a cozy little place, perfect for colder temperatures. This place drops to near zero even in summer, so we did appreciate the warm wood paneled rooms. We loved lounge area the best. The hosts have the fireplace going & serve excellent freshly cooked meals (we enjoyed the breakfast & dinner). Thanks so much for having us & wish you all the best.
Falls Creek
The Astra Hotel is superb. It exceeded all of our expectations, and the staff were fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. The rooms were well appointed, facilities were above expectations and the location was unbeatable. We have already booked for next year. The Cellar Wine list was amazing, thanks to the owners who allowed us to partake in all of those aged Italian wines. And to Mark - English Sommelier who was so awesome in his knowledge and recommendations. Astra please keep him there as we will return next year!
Falls Creek
We enjoyed Mountain View and car park view at Summit penthouse. Three bathrooms and spa and toilets made our living comfortable and easy. Bathroom lightings were a bit dark. The place is clean. It can be quite warm in the afternoon. At COVID period the restaurant, pool, Sauna and tennis court were closed. It enabled us to explore other entertainment places. We certainly enjoyed stay at Falls Creek.
Falls Creek
I enjoyed the breakfasts there as the food was quite tasty and nice. I enjoyed the drives around the tricky roads around falls creek and I really loved the drive from falls creek to Omeo and down the Great Alpine Drive as there was some amazing views and steep mountains that we drove down on it was fantastic.

Falls Creek
The location was perfect for Mountain biking. The host was amazing with my every request. The apartment is clean, amazing beds and linen. The little things that count like washing up liquid, clothes liquid, coffee and tea. One of the best places I have stayed at.
In the middle of the Falls Creek Village with easy access to the main square and other restaurants & cafe’s. Easy access, great storage for bikes (or ski’s), the lounge & cafe & bar facilities in the complex were amazing.
Falls Creek
Bed, warmth of room, staff sense of humour were outstanding. Room lighting was nostalgic, a bonus for an experienced traveller. Hotel theme reminded me of similar lodges in central Europa.
