A recently modernised room in a great motel. Location and parking were good and convenient. Everything that you need in a motel and since it was located on the high street convenient for cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Would strongly recommend to anyone staying in the Wilson Promontory area.

Would absolutely recommend! Nice, spacious and clean room with all commodities one might need and a pretty view outside. Highlight: A heated mattress! A luxury after a hike in cold and rainy weather. The owner was really nice, too, and let us choose the room we preferred.

Foster is a great place to visit and to stay.

Foster is a great place to visit and to stay. So much to do in the area. The township itself is cute as a button - still a vibrant and healthy working town supporting the local farming community. The secondhand/opp shop is a highlight for browsing. The butcher sold us some of the best rib eye steak we've ever had, the Italian sausages are also delicious. Pub dinner was top notch. Ahearns wholefood has a great selection of local cheeses and the best freshly made peanut butter I've tasted in ages. Foster is a favourite place to visit and just keeps getting better. Chats with locals revealed high levels of satisfaction with available medical and aged care services too. Retirement here we come!!

A very small town.

A very small town. Good for a stopover when heading to Wilsons Prom. Nothing much open over the weekend. Couldn't find a cafe open on Sunday. And on Saturday only one small sit down cafe open and it was full!

A lovely town in a central position for exploring not only Wilson’s Prom but also along the coast both east and west. All facilities available and Exchange Hotel does very good lunches and evening meals and there are other places for breakfasts/snacks. A friendly Information centre where the lady was very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend

I travelled to Port Welshpool Beach and walked along its long pier, Yarram, Leongatha and Wilson’s Promontory during my stay. Each place was easy to get to, distances weren’t huge and the drives very pleasant taking in the history and treasures of this part of the Gippsland.

The motel is a 5 minute walk to Foster but we drove as we were going to see a play put on by the local dramatic society, which was excellent. The town is lovely with vegetables and herbs growing in the nature strips and people can take what they want for free. We had a tasty meal at the hotel and watched some Netflix on the large TV in our room. The next day we went for an easy drive to Fish Creek and Inverloch, with beautiful views all the way.

Foster Exchange Hotel has good meals.

Foster Exchange Hotel has good meals. Supermarket in town centre with all essentials. Various other shopping in town. Wilson Promontory only 55minute drive to Tidal River. Approximately 35minutes to Darby River, Waratah Bay or Walkerville Beaches. Many interesting bushwalking tracks in and around Wilsons Promontory with plenty of Wildlife and fresh air. Great get away from city life.

Great little lodge nestled in the bush at the edge of quiet little Foster. Foster is a great location to bed down. You can easily explore the south coast from Inverloch to Wilson's Prom to Port Albert. Hotel roomm clean and relatively modern. Bathrooms were clean and modern. I enjoyed how quiet the lodge and the town is. The lodge was full bby morning but we didn't hear a peep out of all the arriving guests. Little library at the front.

This caravan park is very close to the town of Foster. No need to drive. You can walk to the town for a coffee in under 10 minutes. And its right next to the Foster Show Grounds and a big park. The owner Noel was very helpful and friendly. When our stove wasn't working he came to fix it up immediately. It was also very quiet and peaceful and our cabin although old was comfortable and clean. Overall we enjoyed our three night stay,

Location in the centre of Foster - close to hotel for meals. Arrival was warmly received. Room typical of Motel, However they are commencing updating of units, and it should be excellent on completion, so we know where to stay.
