Unbelievable stay 11/10. If you’re looking to switch off for the weekend and connect with wildlife/nature but enjoy comforts- this is the perfect place. Only 1.5 hour drive from Sydney. All the amenities you need and more. Fireplace was easy to use and kept us warm. Love that there is no TV or reception. We couldn’t believe how much wildlife we saw from the dome and walking around the property. Managed to see platypus in nearby Berrima but there is some at the property depending on water levels. Incredible wineries within 5-10 mins drive.

The Gibraltar Bowral offers a perfect blend of leisure and relaxation. Enjoy a round of golf on our 18-hole course, a workout in our fitness centre, or a swim in the indoor heated pool.

We had a quick stop off in Bowral on our road trip from Melbourne to Sydney. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Located on a quiet street with parking out the front. The house was so interesting with wonderful art work, photographs and extra antique details. We loved the pinball machine and board games. Bowral is a beautiful place, with a lovely high street. We ate at the Royal Hotel, which we all enjoyed. We were also there for the cricket museum which was brilliant. We really appreciated the milk and coffees to make a quick breakfast before we moved on to the Blue Mountains. Thank you!

The property was in a perfect location to everything with only a 10-20 minute drive to everything we needed. Yet it was still in a quiet peaceful area to just enjoy watching a movie on the couch or playing one of the many games the host has kindly left. The place was very clean and the host was very lovely to talk to.
