The room was lovely & clean. The beds & pillows in particular are VERY comfortable! My travel companion has a bad back & chronic pain issues- they awoke feeling like they'd actually gotten proper rest, and their pain levels were the lowest they've been in years! The shower pressure & temperature are excellent! We were able to connect our personal streaming services to the in-room TV. The mini bar snacks, etc. were not at ALL overpriced. The food at the club is delicious! Very reasonably priced, great variety & the staff throughout the entire club & motel are lovely, friendly & very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Lithgow Workies Club Motel for your next getaway!

Due to the closure of the Great Western Highway, between Sydney and Bathurst, we needed to detour via the Bells Line of Road to Lithgow. This turned out to be a great thing. :) Being Autumn, the colours of the trees was spectacular. We got to see the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens at Mt Tomah on the way there. And, on the way back to Sydney, we stopped at the Norman Lindsay Art Gallery at Norman Lindsay Crescent, Faulconbridge NSW. Well worth the visit, especially if you are into art that is "highly detailed, technically virtuosic, and unapologetically hedonistic". The gardens were amazing too, and I was lucky to see three Kookaburras.

Lithgow is a small town, but very pretty at this time of the year (end of autumn). Lots of cafes and restaurants, plenty of food options. Lots of natural beauty to check out: Gardens of Stone, Lost city, Hassans Walls lookout. Great playgrounds for kids too. I have been there during spring too and it is absolutely gorgeous with all the cherry blossoms and magnolias. I highly recommend spending a long weekend around there.

Went for work but we were surprised with how peaceful lithgo was.plenty of walks that we can't wait to experience. Lovely restaurants which are easy on the pocket compared to Sydney and other cities. Blue fox restaurant was a favourite

Lithgow is a Township in the Blue Mountains that has most of the facilities you would need, plus it is on the Great Western Highway and on the train line - super convenient. The locals are friendly and don't mind a chat and food at the pub was great.

To really get the best out of Lithgow, you need to find the...

To really get the best out of Lithgow, you need to find the hidden gems. It has all the tourist spots, Zig Zag Railway, Glow Worm Tunnels etc, but make sure you get out to Portland, Rydal and Tarana. Or check out Blast Furnace Park, Hassans Walls Lookout or Lake Lyall. It has some great accommodation options, and food galore, from those little takeaway shops that make the best burgers, to restaurants and clubs

The purpose of our trip was to show our travelling companions the scenic beauty on offer in and around Lithgow. They were suitably impressed with Mount York, Hassans Walls, Pearsons Lookout and absolutely blown away with Glen Davis and the Capertee Valley.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and bed was really comfortable. All amenities were provided in room, loved that there was also a MagSafe charger as I forgot to pack my phone charger with me on the trip. The club had great schnitty and steak, along with ice cream. Location was superb as well - tucked away in a quiet street that gave us a good night’s rest, yet minutes away from the town center. Definitely a great stay that rivals, if not exceeds the standards of 4-star hotels in the city.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Parking was right at the door. The management were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a short drive from shops etc., but the onsite restaurant provided a good choice for dinner ( we had lovely meals-the best local sausages and chicken and veg SriLankan curry) and good choice for breakfast.

That I booked my hotel with management knowing and they booked a second room. They were more than happy to fix the issue. I didn’t know where to leave key at 1:30am in the morning as I was on my way to Tamworth and they rang me with no hassle to see where I left it. Lovely management.

The apartments are very modern, clean and comfortable. More than adequate for a quick stay while passing through Lithgow. There's also a great restaurant 300m walk away called Frankies that we recommend for dinner.
