Take an apartment with a view on the ocean! We stayed here for one night, because we did the Great Ocean Road in three days, but we would have loved to stay one or two nights longer. I was so happy that I had booked a stay in Lorne instead of Apollo Bay!

We had a wonderful stay at Cumberland Resort in Lorne with our family. The self-contained apartment was spacious, clean, and very well equipped, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing.
The location is excellent, close to the beach, shops, and everything you need in Lorne. The overall experience was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable family stay in Lorne.

Lorne is a great town, with plenty of accomodation, a large pier, shops, cafes, restaurants, a surf club with bar/food and a pub with a view of the ocean. The beaches are ‘stunning’ with gorgeous views from various walking tracks. A lovely river area, caravan park and plenty of areas to walk.

Our visit to Lorne was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination.
The restaurants in the area fulfilled our expectations, providing satisfying meals and service. Additionally, the locals were friendly and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.
There is a wide range of activities on offer, giving visitors plenty to choose from during their time here. The region is located along the coast, offering beautiful beachfront scenery and opportunities to enjoy the seaside. The staff at the information center were welcoming and helpful.
Overall Impression:
Our visit to Lorne was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination.

We love the Mantra and come and stay every year in the lead up to Christmas. We were very disappointed to not be able to get a booking for more than 1 night so the drive to Lorne from Melbourne, checking in at 2pm (ended up 3pm), then check out at 10am gives no time to relax and settle in. The accommodation was unbeatable, the breakfast as always very good.

What a find this motel was. Having been through Lorne many times we had never stayed the night. I just booked the first one that popped up on Booking.com and how nice to find it actually was great. An older room but so clean and well appointed and Grace on Reception was really lovely.

we all like everthing at Lorne Bush House Cottages & Eco Retreats. we love the wild live , Kangaroos and Birds and sounds. very relaxing.We had everthing we needed here.we love having an open fire toasting marshmellows.
