Just steps from Lorne’s beautiful main beach, the Lorne Hotel features an on-site bistro, a bar, a beer garden and live entertainment. Free parking and free in-room WiFi are available. Myself & wife was taking short break for two days, despite having a small short coming in the room. after raising the matter with the Manager it was handled in a very professional, and caring manner including the Reception.... will definitely come back a again to Lorne Hotel.
Located just 150 metres walk from Lorne Beach, Lorne World offers self-contained accommodation with a balcony. The property offers free parking. Bright, cheery room. Great location. Comfortable. Well equipped for studio. Good communication with host. Host left us cheese and crackers and cold bottle of wine which were quite nice after our drive to Loene.
Just a 7-minute drive from Lorne and 1.3 km from Erskine Falls, Lemonade Creek Cottages features a heated outdoor pool, a tennis court, a golf course and a lounge are with a fireplace. Loved the quiet location and country setting. Lots of little touches and generous hospitality made it a stand out
Situated in Lorne, 6 km from Erskine Falls, Ocean Acres Retreat Lorne provides bed & breakfast accommodation with access to a garden. We were so immersed in nature, with all kinds of birds coming right up to you at the balcony, and with a wallaby a few meters away. The facilities are all modern, clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. This place exceeded our expectations.
This property is 2 minutes' drive from the nearest swimming and walking beach and only 7 minutes' drive from the Heart of Lorne. Hosts were so welcoming. Extra bits like homemade biscuits in arrival, homemade apple crumble delivered by host mid stay.... Aussie bush, ideal setting.

It was a cold/wet weekend but we enjoyed sitting in our car watching surfers. We only ate out once, at the Lorne Bowls club, but wouldn't recommend it. The meal was terrible. Getting around Lorne in a car takes a bit of getting used to, but by the end of three days we were coping well.
Lorne is wonderful, local restaurants terrific, mantr old tired and dirty, so disappointed been coming for years but has not been refurbished or maintained during that time. Sincerely hope it gets better as great location but grotty. And I’m seriously not very fussy. ☹️
the prices in lawn are ridiculous. just for burger and chips is $25. it is way to expensive for the place it is. just drive down 15mins more and there is another small town with a beach and facilities which is more reasonable.
It is the best, safe, fun and cleanest beach in Victoria, we always love swimming there. Breakfast from the cafe down stairs always make great coffees and something to eat for everyone. There are decent restaurants and lots for the kids to do such as the skate park or the outdoor trampoline park. There is also the zipline park and the waterfall to visit. The wood-fire oven pizzas were quite nice, but the place gets quite busy, so try and not to go starving there. I would avoid the voodoo healing shop. Creepy stuff. make sure you bring the aeroguard for night time. Even on a rainy day you can drive along the great ocean road to all the different lookouts with spectacular views.
Lorne was a great place to get away to. We have come back feeling very relaxed and satisfied. We spent our time going for walks and enjoying nice dinners. We would have loved for there to be more places with music, but other than that Lorne was a great place to visit.
It's big enough that you can get decent food but small enough that you can wander along the beach at certain times and almost not see anyone else except maybe dog owners and joggers. The Greek restaurant near the I-site had superb food and if I had stayed another night I would have tried the Italian restaurant opposite the camping ground - it looked authentic. Beautiful vistas and a walk along foreshore to the pier worth a mention - stunning.

Excellent location close to Lornes main strip but very private and secluded, beautiful scenery and wildlife with a resident Koala. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cosy and clean rooms and very affordable. Great for a romantic get away and even for a family. Couldn't recommend it more highly, I can't imagine going to Lorne again without staying here, absolutely unbeatable!! Give them a call direct to book in, they're extremely lovely and will find just the right fit for you!!

Loved it here!! Mel (owner) was on top of communication and very kind the entire stay. You can tell he truly cares about this place and the people who stay there. Room was very clean and homey feel. We ended up booking a 2nd night since we loved the room and location in Lorne so much. Beach is literally across the st from hotel. Lorne is a great town to stay for 1-2 nights before heading to 12 Apostles. I highly recco this place! I’ll def stay here again. Thank you, Mel!

My family had got a great time here. The Tent is huge, the most advanced tent ever made with everything you need, similar to 5 star hotel :). My kid did enjoy the playground very much. You can feed the birds in the morning, will be lots of them. You can also see some Kangaroos. I highly recomended to everyone.

My sister and I enjoyed our week long stay in this peaceful, bush setting located a short drive from Lorne. The location was a great base for exploring the Great Ocean Road and the Otways. We loved spending time on the covered veranda watching the birds and enjoying the view of the bush.

Excellent location with stunning views and amazing walks. Kids loved the river which runs through the park. A short walk from a beautiful beach, and only 6-8 min drive from Lorne town. Comfortable beds in the cabin.

Really helpful staff. The Seaview room was one of the best views you could have across the beach. Good value and comfortable with a little kitchen, much more than you would get in a hotel room.

Perfect location, for the price, you get so much more than a basic hotel. A huge room with a kitchen and balcony, parking garage, and pool/hot tub/sauna access.

Everything was beautifully clean, comfy - and large! Two minor matters - though they were a little frustrating at the time - it took us some time to work out that to turn on the TV, you had to hold your finger down on the ON button for at least 10 secs before it bounced into life. A note about that would have helped a lot. Also, we couldn't get the reverse air conditioning to work to add some warmth to the apartment - even with 2 of us separately trying! Everything else super, thank you very much

We loved everything about the motel! I wish we had stayed longer. How amazing to see the ocean from your bed! The staff is the most helpful and kind!! They upgraded us for free for the front line room number 20 overseeing the ocean. We forgot our charging cable and they kept it for us while we were strolling the waterfront. Free parking! Proximity to everything. Noise from traffic stops at 9-9:15 max so not a problem at all. Extremely clean facilities and the most comfy beds ever !

I have been coming to Allenvale Cottages for over 20 years. It is a tranquil place with beautiful natural habitat and fauna. Incredible bush walking, a gallery near by and the beach only 2kms away. Kero cottage, full of warmth and relaxation.
