What a diamond in the rough. I love this place. It can use a bit of an overhaul, but everything works, there's loads of room, great location, sweet staff. I don't understand why it is not the most popular place in the area

Fabulously bohemian hotel , restaurant, speakeasy style bar with a 70’s theme running throughout. Beautiful bedroom with everything we needed, clean, comfortable and spacious. Included breakfast was fresh prepared/cooked and delicious no matter what we had. Staff could not have been more helpful and everything just worked perfectly. Trams and trains on the doorstep made getting anywhere simple. Whole area has a nice vibe. Definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved our experience! The hotel itself is beautiful — the room was spacious, clean and had a lovely view over Albert Park. The spa area was great, the sauna was hot enough to meet the standards of my Finnish boyfriend. Every single staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We arrived before noon, well ahead of check-in, and the front desk staff happily stored our luggage so we could head out. Not long after (still before official check-in time), they called to let us know the room was ready — and when we returned, our luggage was already waiting in the room for us. It’s those thoughtful touches that make a stay memorable. For the price, the value was exceptional. We’ve stayed in quite a few places around Australia, but this hotel has easily become one of our favorites. Highly recommend!
