Sassafras Springs is a magical place! Our host was very welcoming, suggesting suitable activities and answering our every question. The wood burner kept us really toasty and we enjoyed harvesting eggs and veg, all free fo the taking!

The location overlooking the river was amazing. The house was very comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and river. We loved the kayaking, the breakfast, the port, the fire and port in the evening. We wish we had another day. Everything was perfect.

Lovely modern house overlooking Meadowbank Lake. A very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, with beautiful views. The lake edge was a short easy walk away and there were sit-on-top kayaks with lifejackets available for guest use - great for watching wallabies along the banks of the lake. A full kitchen, good shower, and even some treats left for our arrival. We wished we could have stayed longer.
